  • Amazing tempo shoes, but seller could've done better
I ordered these shoes on sale, and ordered them a half size up from my normal running shoe size (or .5-1 full size up from everyday shoes) and they fit perfect! These shoes are plenty roomy in the toebox, have a nice colorway, the laces are thin and stay tied, and the gusseted tongue is thin, comfortable and stays right where it should. The shoes are highly ventilated and breathable, not to mention extremely light, bouncy, and fast! I do have some gripes with the seller, though. I ordered from Fast Goods and when they got to me, there was only the inner box portion, no lid, and it was beat up pretty badly. I could definitely tell the shoes had been tried on/worn, and were certainly a return or a regret for somebody else. I loved them so much, though, and got them at such a great price, that I was willing to keep them despite all that. I just didn't find it very professional of the seller to sell them as "brand new" when they really weren't, so be aware of that. I couldn't find the rose and white colorway elsewhere or at such a good price, so I cut my slight losses on brand new shoes and kept them, because they are truly a comfortable and amazing shoe. I intend to get at least 300 miles out of them if possible! ... show more

  • Great and Great Looking Athletic Shoes!
Love these! Every 4 or 5 years I manage to find a pair of New Balance shoes in a color/style I love that I can't find locally. They are comfortable for me (I like the increased width) and I've washed them a few times returning the brightness of the "pineapple" yellow and they still look and feel great. Thanks NB, keep up the good work! ... show more

  • I think I finally found the right shoe!
Size: 8.5 Wide Color: White/Thirty Watt/Electric Indigo
I absolutely love these shoes! I've been trying a variety of Asics, Hoka, Altra, Brooks, and Rykas over the past year. Most I either tried on in the store or purchased and wore for a few minutes before returning. Others I thought worked until discovering after a few weeks that they weren't right. I have metatarsalgia and Morton's Neuroma in one foot and have tried the shoes recommended by foot specialists. I need wide shoes for both toe box room and metatarsal comfort not constricting the outer edge of my foot. However, all these shoes resulted in some ball of foot soreness. I do Jazzercise, which involves jogging in place, jumping, lunging, balancing on one foot, and plenty of other footwork. It's important that my weight be placed primarily in the heel and arch to minimize impact to my forefoot. Only the FuelCell Rebel V3s have resulted in zero soreness during and after a class. They are light and springy to boot. When I stand for a long period, I am aware that there is no pressure on the ball of my foot or toes (and why I don't feel pain or soreness). In fact, I had to wear a pair of fancy stage shoes last weekend that hurt my foot. Afterwards, I put on these NBs, and my foot felt better within minutes. I've worn them for the past three weeks and want to purchase another pair. I only intended to wear these shoes to workouts but find myself in them almost daily because my feet feel so dang good. ... show more

  • Okay
Ordered wide, got wide, but they aren't very wide. Certainly not as wide as the V2's. Other than that they are nice shoes. High quality, which is what I expect from New Balance. Nice color, very light and cushiony. Just not as comfortable to run in as the V2's were.

  • Very soft, cushy plant
Size: 9.5 Color: Black/Infinity Blue/Vibrant Spring
I was struggling with muscular issues, trying to run with my old, inflexible legs. So I searched for some very "cushy" runners that would reduce the strike when running on pavement. NB always fit me well, so I chose these. They worked well, as I have been able to comfortably run 2-4 miles at a time. Can't say how long they will last with such a soft sole, but I suppose that's a tradeoff to live with. I only have a hundred miles on them so far... ... show more

  • Beware of improper size labels
I have ordered multiple pairs of this shoe model because they fit great and work well for my feet and running style. I purchased this pair in my usual size (women's 6 wide), and received a pair, both shoes labeled 6 wide. The right shoe is visibly larger than the left, despite the same size label, and physically fits different. I got these for a good price, but Amazon won't allow me to exchange, so I have to return them and purchase a pair at a higher price. Highly disappointed. ... show more

  • Best sole on a shoe I've ever had
The sole on these shoes is the most comfortable/best lasting of any pair I've worn. It has a springy feel rather than just being soft and still feels that way 1.5 years in after heavy use. The upper could probably be slightly improved but the sole material is perfect in every way.

  • Have I finally found "my" running shoes?
I can't tell you how many running shoes I've tried and discarded. Most are too soft and squishy, or the midsole is too narrow. I need neutral shoes, fairly firm but not too much, and I dislike super high stacks. I supinate on the left side. For years, I've run in racers, because anything else would make my left ITBS to flare up. But then my right plantar fascia would start screaming at me when I increased mileage. Most modern shoes would make my ITBS flare up in less than 15 minutes. I though I'd found a working middle ground with the 1440v6 (plus a wedge on the left side), but they discontinued them. These are a happy medium between firm and cushioned. They're cushioned enough for longer runs so my legs aren't too tired and my plantar fascia stays happy, fast enough for short ones, even tempo runs. They're also firm enough that I can control my left foot and avoid supinating and hurting my ITBS (I still use a small wedge under the heel, and replaced the insoles with Currex ones that have a deeper heel cup). They're also rather fun to run in. I took them for short easy runs, a couple tempo runs, some shorter intervals, and a couple 6-10 miles runs, and they performed great. I'm a true 9.5 and got them in size 10, so I could fit the small silicon wedge under my left heel, and slightly thicker insoles. They fit perfectly, so I'd say they're TTS. The light blue colorway is pretty but I wish they came in black or a more neutral color. At least they're not pink! ... show more
