The New Balance Fresh Foam X Cruz V3 Running Shoes were a huge disappointment. I was a big fan of the ROAV line of New Balance shoes, and these looked to be a better-looking version of them. I was happy to give them a try and expected them to perform the same, especially since they are marketed as a "running shoe". I don't need much since I'm not a pro-runner by any means, just need something to keep up with my daily walk/jog. But these were absolutely horrible even for walking. The heal of them does not provide enough support to hold the shoe on. They constantly feel like they are going to fall off. I tried tightening the shoelaces, and loosening them, but never could feel confident with their hold. Imagine running in slippers and constantly adjusting your stride to try and keep your shoes on. That's what happens with these. So, the awkward support leads you to not walk with a normal stance and I ended up with pain in my ankles and hips. Definitely not a "running shoe" and nowhere near as good as the Roav version of New Balance... These were a waste of money; I do not recommend and wish I had returned them immediately. Since I'm out the money and lost trust, I purchased an Under Armour shoe to try next. Goodbye New Balance. ... show more
