I use these sneakers for walking. Living in NYC, I walk a lot. My job also requires me to walk around a lot. I could stand and walk all day, and my feet do not hurt. The softness doesn't provide top-tier stabilization, but it's good enough for long walks and straight runs. I love them.

No dislikes! These shoes are incredibly comfortable. The shock absorption of the "fresh foam" sole is excellent. Because I run some hills in my normal run, shock absorption on the downhills is especially important. My times actually decreased (I ran faster) in these shoes and the "heel strike" part of the running stride was much less impactful. Wear on the soles is minimal after 100 miles, but I would expect this. I wish the price was a little lower, but otherwise, definitely worth a try.

I don't really run but I do buy running shoes for my everyday wear cause they are so much more comfortable compared to a bunch of lifestyle shoes. These are probably the most comfortable shoes I ever bought for daily wear. My feet did not hurt at all standing around and walking on these daily for hours I currently have both the Vomero 17 and Ultraboost 1.0 and these 1080v13 have softer cushioning compared to those two but it kinda affects its stability. The Vomero 17 and Ultraboost 1.0 are definitely more stable. Size wise. I wear the same size for all three shoes and they all fit well.

The shoes have provided great support for long term standing and hustling. The New Balance Store rates their shoe models best on sole mileage. I have walked 10 miles a day for 3.5 years with no blisters and no achy feet. The only downside to these shoes is they tend to retain heat, but I would buy them again and again. I have never been so pleased with a pair of shoes. Well worth the money, trust me.

Fantastic cushioning shoe! A little background: 84, 5' 11", 150 lbs, walk 3 miles daily/1000 miles yearly. Have been running and walking for 57 years, so have been through a few pairs of shoes! For some time, had settled on New Balance 840 series. Then two years ago, in searching for better cushioning, came across the Hoka Bondi 7 and 8. BIG improvement in cushioning. Needed new shoes and Bondi 9 not due until December, I've read. Further research got me to this New Balance 1080v13. And it's as big a step up in cushion as the Bondi was over the NB847. I've never experienced cushion like this. I can feel it from heel strike to push off. Never before aware of cushion under the forefoot and toes, but you sure can feel it in these. Highly recommend if you are looking for a light, heavily cushioned running or walking shoe. I rate the shoes a 5+. Only reason for the 4 is that I ordered 2E and Amazon sent 4E. But the fit is great so I kept them. Long term have some concerns about wear (strips vs full sole) but have to believe NB knows what they are doing.

These New Balance Men's Fresh Foam X 1080 V13 running shoes have far exceeded my expectations and honestly are the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. They run small (like most New Balance shoes) so I had to size up by half a size, but the fit is perfect. I also have wide feet, and these X-wide shoes fit just right. The best part is how bouncy the Fresh Foam is--right now I'm recovering from a serious leg issue that is aggravated by shoes that have no cushion. These New Balance shoes are like walking on a cloud and absorbs foot fall impacts extremely well. I also like that these have mesh uppers so my feet stay cool. I usually don't spend this much on shoes, but after reading many reviews I was convinced these shoes were worth it, and now that I've been wearing them for a few weeks I can confirm they're worth every penny.

I tried these shoes along with a pair of brooks and onclouds. While I think all of them have their uses these shoes were by far the “squishiest”. When you walk around on these you will notice how much give there is on the bottom and it makes for a very comfortable experience. Looks are subjective but the fact they come in a mostly white color is a plus for me. I’ve been wearing mine as my primary shoes for a few months and they are starting to show some dirt on the front but overall are still looking pretty good. TLDR: If you are looking for a very padded shoe with a lot of give on the bottom I think these are a great choice.
