I was looking for golf shoes that would be comfortable for those of us dealing with plantar fasciitis...and I found them! These are so comfortable and supportive, and light weight. They work so well for my feet! They also come in extra wide. Often hard to find. Reasonable price also!

I would have rated 5* for Comfort but they're just a tad too short. Next size up (a 15-Wide) would be too big so I'll keep these and just wear thinner socks. Width (Wide) fits perfectly, contrary to what other reviewers have said. Shoes look good, very stable, good arch support, and look to have the great New Balance quality construction. I suspect with some break-in, they'll stretch a bit so should be fine after a few walking rounds.

I have 12 4E size feet and it's difficult to find shoes...especially golf shoes...that fit. I went to my local large golf store and looked through a few hundred pairs of shoes but none were in my size. I bought shoes twice by two different brands that said they were my size without trying them on first but they were much too tight and hurt a lot. I had to take them back. Other brands make shoes that claim to be my size but they're really not. New Balance is true to their word. This 'Fresh Foam Contend' golf shoe is perfectly sized and very comfortable. It's plenty wide enough where it needs to be, at the balls of my feet. Plus they're waterproof. I played a wet, muddy round yesterday (January 5th) here in Seattle and my feet stayed dry. From now on when I need golf shoes I will quit looking around and just buy New Balance golf shoes from Amazon.

Had to go from my usual 12XW in Footjoy golf shoes to 13 4E in this shoe. It's a good golf shoe, nice traction, light weight and keeps my feet dry if there's some dew on the grass. I've walked 18 a few times wearing this shoe. I like it a lot.

Edit: so after having used them for a few rounds i had to take away a star. the back of the shoes have what id say is an aggressive angle to keep them in place, unfortunately this leads the back of the shoe to dig into your Achilles, mine being absolutely raw and blistered after 9 holes each time. the shoes are all well and good. the sizing tho, runs real small. im a size 10, have been for a long time, a 10 never does me wrong. got a size 10 in these and had to return them, tried a 10.5 and im debating sending them back as they are still overly snug. save yourself and get a full size up
