I really like these New Balance Fresh Foam 520 V9 running shoes. They fit well, feel light on the feet, and look great too. Overall, they’re comfortable for walking and casual wear. However, there are a couple of things that kept me from giving a full 5 stars. First, the sole isn’t as foamy or bouncy as I expected, especially during runs—it feels a bit flat and doesn’t absorb impact as well as I’d like. Second, there’s a bit of arch support in the middle that pokes into my foot, which can get a little irritating after a while.
