I liked these shoes immediately after putting them on. Sometimes you get a shoes that is perfect right out of the box. These shoes are that form me. The are awww comfortable, while having a useful sole patter that normal orthopedic generally don't have. Normal ortho shoes have a sole that's ok on dry surfaces, but are deadly on ICE. While I haven't tried these shoes on ice I look forward to it. These shoes are better on other slick surfaces. I have a mesh shoe for warmer weather and they are great too. Kudos to New Balance for making these shoes available. Now, if diabetic orthotics were available, diabetics would be able to get what they need at a lower cost Amazon, does have one diabetic insert from Germany. Others may be good for diabetics, but they are not advertised for that purpose. Medicare approval would also be nice if possible. ... show more

My son likes this particular sneaker for his size 16 w feet. There are not a lot of styles on his size to chose from but these NB are a good fit for him.

I have been wearing NB for years and last pair were size 12, 3x. I could not find that width again so I opted for a half size larger with 2x width. Toe box is ok not overly roomy but it is rounder and fits ok. I sent a pair of 12 2x back cause my toes touched the end of the shoe.
