My favorite walking shoe has been discontinued for several years, so I had to earnestly search for a new one. This was recommended by my podiatrist for my flat feet. They aren't heavy, have a nice arch support, the uppers are soft, and the toe box is wide enough to not crowd my toes when I wear heavier socks. The real test will come when I see how long the soles/tread lasts. But so far, I'm satisfied with these.

I walk several miles daily so I needed one of the few brands that offer a wide size. Comfortable fit. The soles as expected with daily walks are going to wear down. Good value for the buck when I buy them when they are on sale.

Have been using this sneaker for many years for daily walks. They are comfortable and the upper portion is durable. However, the heal significantly wears out in less than a year requiring purchase of a new pair once/year.

I bought this shoe as a replacement for my old, very worn NB 577 walking shoes. I am very, very pleased. These new ones are at least as comfortable and supportive as the old shoes were back in their day. The only down side is that New Balance seems to have changed their size chart. The old shoes were Size 11, while these had to be Size 11-1/2 to give enough room in the toe box. But with that one change, these have been great. I have worn them for about 40 miles of walking so far and I plan to use them a lot more. I just hope when these are worn out, New Balance will still have something this good.

I wanted to love these shoes, rated for diabetics and Medicare. I just assumed they would be very comfortable. They were fantastic for walking and standing but while sitting the soles of my feet killed; very achy. This is not true with my Birkenstock shoes, so I know it is something in the design of these New Balance shoes. Noisy shoes are a pet peeve of mine; the soles of these shoes proved to be silent on carpet, tile, marble, wood and concrete, but the insoles creaked. If I had kept the shoes I would have pulled out the insoles (very easy to do) and replaced them. These are great shoes except when sitting down, I would have loved to have kept them, but I had to return them because of the foot pain. I have flat arches and weigh almost 400 pounds, I bought size 14 regular and they were a very nice fit. Made in Vietnam.

I bought these to replace a pair that I had owned since 2020. So getting the same model was important to me. These fit perfectly. Until I put these on, I never realized just how worn out my last pair was. I only thing I did extra on these shoes was to replace the insoles with some Dr. Scholl's insoles with a lot of arch support to straighten out my arches and instep.

Really can't say much about them because they did not fit. Been wearing an 8.5 Medium for years from many manufactures, but had such great difficulty getting the first one on, I didn't bother trying to put on the other wrestled it off my foot and back to Amazon in less than 5 minutes. Ordered in a Wide and we see how that goes, but if you regularly wear a medium order the wide. otherwise you'll be doing the same thing I am doing and driving it back to an Amazon return. Replaced with a Wide and they fit well and seem good so far, only have a couple days of power walks on them.
