I have been wearing New Balance 574's for years, and these are just as good as ever. Unfortunately, they are getting hard to order, as it appears NB is replacing them with some other lines. I tried some 515's, which were similar, but lower in cost. They were generally OK, but definitely not as comfortable. I wish NB would keep on manufacturing the 574's, but I guess market pressures may have put me in the minority liking them, despite a somewhat higher price. ... show more

Teenage son destroyed, I mean completely destroyed these shoes in the matter of two months by going to the gym and playing basketball in them. Quality is not there. They may be OK for leisurely walks but not for activities.
