I love this duvet, now waiting for an insert. Im glad I ordered the California King for my King bed because I get the side hangs that I need. I think I would have been upset if I ordered the King. My opinion, it would have been too short. The reviews helped a lot There is no texture, just smooth and soft like a nice feeling bed sheet. No zipper. There are buttons and and ties. I ordered this in White Twin, and it came in the correct size and color. Construction seemed good - the buttons buttoned, the four (not eight) ties tied. The fabric has no distinctive feel to me - I didn’t notice it feeling particularly coarse or soft. But I chalk that up as a plus. I ordered taupe. For me, taupe was an awful color choice, my fault 100%. I didn’t return, I’ll keep for another purpose. The fabric is so soft and cozy, the color is rich and not see through at all. I recommend the set based on quality, but the taupe color was not for me.

When I first received this duvet cover I really did not think I was going to like it because it came packed in a small box. The pictures are a bit deceiving but once I opened it I loved how soft it felt and it really exceeded my expectations! It’s not thick so it’s perfect for the summer months.
