EDIT: OK I rescind this review. On the very first day, it didn't smell like holidays, but after day 2, some cinnamon started to kick in and it wasn't too bad. You just have to wait a bit. I was disappointed at first, but give it a day. It is currently 50 days after I opened this diffuser, and it is almost empty, a little under half an inch of liquid left. I specifically ordered it for some holiday cheer, but instead I get strong wafts of ozone and a green tea kind of scent. My boyfriend agreed that he was expecting something more seasonal. Wouldn't recommend buying without smelling it first because it is not as advertised. Also for some reason the box has really big warning that the contents are toxic to aquatic life and humans should also avoid breathing the vapors, which isn't really reassuring for a product so expensive. ... show more

Buyer beware: Don’t expect to get a new or unused product. This was bought at the full retail price, $48; seller was the NEST Fragrances Store. The item we were sent was NOT new. The box was torn, and the reeds were stuffed in a crumpled old Ziploc bag. The bottle was not quite full; there was no plastic seal over the cap; and the reeds were already scented. It had clearly already been used. Photo attached. We buy a NEST “Holiday” reed diffuser every year at a local shop for the Christmas season, but chose to order from Amazon this year due to the pandemic. Since we are familiar with the usual presentation, we can attest that it did appear to be an authentic NEST product; but honestly, if I’m paying full price for a $48 reed diffuser, it had better be new. We have given these in the past as hostess gifts, but this one would definitely not be giftable. Gave one star for the “used” status at full price, which is not as advertised. To be fair, if it had been new and unused (or even used and discounted!) the NEST “Holiday” reed diffuser as experienced in past years would rate five stars. The scent is lovely. It is strongly scented, therefore is best for larger spaces. It lasts months. ... show more
