Although I've been guilty of saying that sports equipment needs to be functional rather than decorative, these roller skates are, happily, both. If you like pink, and holographic, and rainbows, and mermaids...these might be your skates. The skates are lightly padded on the inside, and, while the vinyl outer boots seemed like they'd be a little stiff at first, they loosen up and conform to my feet nicely when laced. And, helpfully, the laces are actually long enough to be used in all the holes (not every pair of skates I've bought has laces that do). The wheels light up and flash rainbows when you move in these, and I have had no issues with stuck or loose wheels. The set also comes with an extra set of laces, and a couple of extra wheel nuts, just in case. The fit is somewhat true-to-size; I wear a US 8.5 women's shoes, and the Size 8 in these fits me perfectly. The skates themselves are actually labelled "Size 40". Although I'm not a beginner, I'm not an expert roller skater either, and so I've been pleased to find these work well, and offer enough support (and security--there's a toe-stop) to use right out of the box. They are so cute and stylish. I got these for my 13 year old who hasn’t skated in years. She is also extremely picky so her giving these skates a 10/10 is top tier. The wheels glide very smoothly and she’s back to skating everyday

These skates are sturdy, well made and are so pretty. They fit true to size and look good with any outfit colors. My girl looks so stylish in them. The wheels are smooth and allow her to glide easily. She loves them.

The media could not be loaded. We ordered the big kid 4, which is the same size she wears when we rent skates, and in her street size. These are super fun, the laces are long enough to make a sturdy tie, the tongue material is soft to not pinch the foot Wheels light up, which is Always a fun feature. The skates come with a socket wrench and 2 extra nuts, so replacing wheels when needed should be very easy, but they're on nice and securely for now. ... show more
