I love this dress. I have 3- one polka dot, one blue, and one red. They are flattering, comfortable, and have POCKETS. The first one started pilling and some of the stitches came out after a few months of regular wear- one of the ties on the back came out. The second dress I bought didn’t pill because I started hanging them to dry. The fabric is stretchy and comfortable and not sheer, but it is still going to wear out quickly from excessive drying so I recommend hanging to dry. The stitches on the chest eventually gave way on the second dress and needed repair- this might only be an issue if you are busty. The third dress has held up with regular wear and hanging it to dry, with a few accidental times in the dryer. This is low cut, so it might need a cami if this is for work. ... show more

My daughter wanted us to do Rapunzel and Mother Gothel for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, but I didn't want to do a full costume so I bought this dress and added the belt and a petticoat. This is a great dress to wear with a petticoat, really gave some great volume to the skirt! I cannot say enough great things about this dress, it's so comfortable, the material has good stretch and great drape, the neckline is very flattering and I didn't need to wear a cami for modesty. I usually wear shorts and a t-shirt to the parks, but I was every bit as comfortable in this dress. It's so light and drapey without being clingy! I've washed it several times and there's been no fading...it dries beautifully and wrinkle free! I've also worn it to work several times and gotten so many compliments. Everyone thinks I'm so dressed up, but it's as comfortable as wearing pjs! If you are on the fence, just buy it, you will love it! ... show more

Very flattering comfortable dress. You can manipulate the waist band to fit at your waist rather than right below your boobs, and the adjust-ability of the waistband is nice (using the tie). Fits the back nicely, boobs needs adjusting once they're in but maintain themselves pretty well. Pockets are big and helpful! If you are a heart, chances are that you'll look like an hourglass in this dress because of the cut of the skirt. Would NOT recommend for pear-shape unless you really want your hips to pop. Good maternity dress. You'll want to shave your armpits because the sleeves are only long on the top. ... show more

I not happy with my weight and I needed something I could wear to a wedding and feel good in. The reviews on this dress made me feel hopeful! When I first put it on I thought it was great, but then I saw a picture of myself in the dress from the wedding and I didn’t like what I saw. I think I’d have liked it more if it were a bit longer on me and hit mid calf rather than just below my knee. Now, my thoughts about myself in the dress are my own insecurities. The dress itself is really cute! My waist seemed smaller and it was very comfortable! I would say GET THIS DRESS for sure, and hopefully you have a better body image than I do and you love yourself in the dress as much as you love the dress when it’s hanging in your closet. For reference, I was 5’ 7” and 220 lbs when I wore the dress. I’m hoping once I lose some weight that I will wear it again and like how I look in it. Because it is really cute! ... show more

I followed the previous reviews and got one size smaller. I purchased an 18. Measurement reference: 40E, 41 waist, 51 hip. The material is a heavy tee shirt weight. It’s soft and comfortable. The bust allows room for the girls. My half tee works perfectly underneath for modesty. The bust/waist tie is in the most perfect location because it hides the pooch without being obvious. The length hits just below the knee, so it’s perfect for pumps or boots. Like the reviewers who added a petticoat, this dress spins beautifully. So if a little extra oomph is desired, they’re absolutely right. This dress can easily be worn alone or under a blazer, sweater, or a denim shirt. I could easily over wear this dress :) ... show more
