Product showed up with the ceramic nozzle broken, just like other have said. I contacted the seller and got a quick response and a quick replacement. No hassle at all. Much to my surprise, after receiving the new ceramic insert, it had an Amazon barcode. So if you actually look for "ceramic insulating nozzle for furnace" it will pop right up. This should be somehow tagged to the smelting pot page so it's easier to find. Other than that, everything looks good. The lifting tongs for the 18kh crucible don't fit the best, but it'll be an easy fix to correct it. I also ordered the 12kg crucible/tongs kit and those tongs fit the crucibles perfectly. The welds on the pot are very nice. Almost look laser welded. I probably won't get around to using this item anytime soon since it's winter. But it looks like it is gonna work just fine. Thanks to the seller for correcting my issue!

After testing the furnace and amazed at the speed it melted metal, I bought a second one a week later. Both run great. I like the hinged lids too. This comes without accessories so I happened to have them from ones that I wore out. Worth the price.

Nicely made unit. Good finish on the welds and thick caowool. Ordered rigidizer and refractory cement to extend the life of the furnace. Hope to get it all set up soon.

Produ.\nCt does not tend to light properly.It putters and goes out if it is preheated up to heat, the flame comes on, but does not admit sufficient flame to heat the furnace.There is much work that is still needed with this furnace.I cannot recommend the purchase cost

Would have been 5 stars but the ceramic insulation around the propane hose was shattered and fell out upon opening the box. Still works and is a ton of fun.
