This thing is great! Its not professional, but well built and comes with useable tools and gloves for the hobbyist. Better than I expected. The tongs are awesome and sturdy. I was worried… but think we made the right choice for the kids and I to have fun melting cans. We will try sand casting with it later this summer.

There are many styles of melting furnaces, but I chose the one with a capacity of 25KG. I need a melting furnace that can melt large amounts of metal at one time. In addition, I only need this melting furnace, and I can use any crucible that is smaller than it. This not only heats up very quickly, but also saves propane usage to a certain extent. I will use different crucibles to melt different metals. I really like this melting furnace!
