If you’re thinking about getting this NeilMed Sinus Rinse - A Complete Sinus Nasal Rinse Kit, 50 count chances are that like me, you need to worry about the very real possibilities of repeated sinuses infections that go along with allergies, colds, flues, and ear infections. Also chances are, you’re tired of feeling the horrible way they make you feel and the endless days of being sick - long past what most people experience - so you want relief. I’ve tried this NeilMed Sinus Rinse and I am impressed. After my latest trip through the realities of a double ear infection, my new ENT suggested I use a NeilMed Sinus Rinse and gave me a free sample. I used it, it seems to work as I’ve started to get the flu, and so we ordered this NeilMed Sinus Rinse - A Complete Sinus Nasal Rinse Kit, 50 count - not only to have the additional packets for me, but to get a set (bottle, top) for my wife to use as well. She does not have the same overall issues I do, but if it helps those of us with really bad issues, surely it can help someone with lesser issues. So... we ordered this NeilMed Sinus Rinse - A Complete Sinus Nasal Rinse Kit, 50 count... I’ll simply say, I’m (we are) sold on the NeilMed Sinus Rinse brand and are happy to have them. I’ll add - this is a WEIRD experience and thing you have to do with it is WEIRD! You are literally shooting water up one side of the nose to clear out the sinuses and it shoots out the other side. This is a weird, strange, even uncomfortable feeling in that you must get past the mental aspect of what you are doing. BUT DO IT! It will remain weird, but you can get past it. There are some videos on YouTube to show you what to do. We watched one, then went for it. It is really NOT HARD and in fact IS EASY, but IT IS WEIRD. It FEELS like when you JUMP INTO A POOL and water rushes up your nose. It will apparently never stop feeling like that. BUT YOU WILL GET (somewhat) more used to it. But it IS WORTH IT! In the 4 days I’ve been doing it my sinuses are doing better than they ever have in one of these situations. I won’t know for awhile if it’s truly helped, but I have never gotten this far and not been horrible - so this is a great step forward for me. So... that’s it. This is a weird thing to do, but it seems to work. At the rate I’m going, I will actually be healthy in the 10 days other people get healthy - not the 8 weeks+ it usually takes me. Allergies, sinus congestion and three to four sinus infections/year prior to using NeilMed. After a particularly severe sinus infection- the 3rd round of antibiotics cleared it- my Primary Care Provider and the allergist warned of potential bone infection and “your brain sits on those bones, young lady!” (I had been declining to try a Nettie Pot.) I use bottled water, warm the salt/water solution in the microwave and “power wash” my sinuses five to fourteen times a week. I’ve had four sinus infections in fifteen years. Just make sure you bend over and stand back up, before blowing your nose- perhaps a couple times- because the water will come back out unexpectedly a few hours later- and that is not what you want to have happen at work. I do the sinus rinses before going to bed. But when allergy season hits, and the stuff I see coming out when I do the rinse is… use your imagination… I do them in the mornings also. If you ever forget to put the salt/bicarb packet in the water before using the sinus rinse- you will not make that mistake a second time! Have to wonder if these sinus rinses are the reason I have not had Covid yet, despite a job that puts me at high risk… ... show more

    • A total life changer for someone who occasionally suffers insane allergy problems

Here's how bad my allergies can get--On really awful days, and despite taking serious allergy meds, I can just sit on the porch, lean my head forward, and have my nose drip like a leaky faucet every 5-7 seconds. It can miserable beyond words. This sinus rinse has changed everything. You can blow you nose 100 times, but there can be pockets in your sinus cavity that just aren't cleared. I believe this is what was happening to me--I'd get a pollen buildup in those pockets, no way to get them out, and my sinuses would just go berserk trying to clear them out with no success. This rinse does take a few days to get used to, but it clears out all that junk every time. I'd guess 95% of my sinus issues are just gone. Even on rough days I need to blow my nose maybe 5 or 6 times, as opposed to 50+ times before with no real relief. Even I have to use this product every day for 10 seconds for the rest of my life, I will GLADLY do it. ... show more
