I have had cheaper guitar straps before, and the fake leather ends on those straps always ended up peeling and looking nasty. Although I haven't had this strap for too long, the materials used seem like they will hold up better and last longer. We shall see, but so far very satisfied with my purchase. 4 star to the strap lock since it is just a simple rubber donut (although my favorite type of "lock," it may not be the best if you are serious about locking your strap to your guitar).

Before buying this i had a neck strap that didn’t have the rings to lock it in place. One day i was playing with this strap on and it came off and my guitar fell and the neck broke.
