These lights are light weight with the appropriate brightness to compete with some of the professional brands that cost 3 or 4x the cost. The lights have a heavy duty plastic feel and the stands are super sturdy. Neewer does provide color strips w/ 3 colors red, yellow, blue and a white which could act as a diffuser of sorts. While the cords could potentially limits some portability the capability to use batteries instead makes this the perfect light weight option for on location shooting. The batteries will need to be purchased separately but if you have other Neewer products you might already have the batteries but if not they too are very cost effective. Purchased these lights for my studio desk, and they are awesome. Love using them for filming, photography, make-up, and the list goes on and on. Great lights and being able to clamp them to your desk is great for saving space and direct light. Love these lights!

I love these Neewer light sets. I have bought a few of them. Only brand needed. Not expensive but does the job of expensive lights. The color hues can get intense. Very very cool. Highly recommend!

On the pictures they said it changes into multiple colors, but it does not. It only has yellow light or white light definitely returning it.
