Very bright the light is great but there are better ones I would get the full standing one if I could go back because I don’t always have a table to put it at and the cord is short too also the most annoying thing that it’s very light and I stable I have an iPhone 11 Pro Max!     • Nearly perfect!
After blinding myself on video conferences with crappy lighting, I decided to spring for the Neewer ring light (I have some of their camera accessories and they've always been a good value). This ring light is a dandy and will likely get used for videos/still photography as well. A couple of caveats: 1.) It draws a fair amount of current - I measured it in the 1.80 - 1.85A range depending on setting. If you plug this into an old 0.5A USB converter/hub, it will light up but will flicker (and may cause other peripherals to act strangely). Not a downcheck, but something to check. 2.) There is a center mount for a camera holder that is included....and guess what? It's a 1/4-20 standard camera base thread, meaning you can mount a (reasonably light) camera right on the ring base. How cool is that? Wellll....almost. You'll need a very short piece of 1/4-20 threaded rod (hardware store or, as I did, cut the end off a bolt) to put them together. Neewer could really make a lot of friends if they'd add a few extra cents worth of steel. ... show more

Looks like a table lamp & is attractive enough to keep on my desk. Metal stand is sturdy. Easy to assemble. Good height which is a 6" above 15" laptop. Use for video calls & it lights my face well without being blinding. Good choice of colors (cool, warm, & in between) to see which looks best. Can plug USB cord directly into computer or use a USB adapter for a power outlet. Beware - metal USB connector gets very hot & light needs to be switched off after 1-1/2 hours to cool down! ... show more

I ordered this one hoping it would be a better fit for my small vanity to replace my expensive one that stopped working. Wanted a smaller ring light for a counter or tabletop to film YouTube videos. This was fairly easy to assemble. Bright and you can adjust the brightness or dimness and it also comes with 3 temperature colors. I undoubtedly see a difference with how much better my video brightness and quality is! My one con is that I can’t figure out myself how to completely secure the coupling to the base but maybe my boyfriend can figure it out. Definitely recommend and don’t regret!!! ... show more

Very cute little light, I use it in my salon and my customers love it. They love to take before and after pictures with it and clamp their own phone in the stand to do so. Some girls like the warm tone and other like the cool, so it is great that they can adjust it to their preference. Definitely a big hit with new customers and it is one of the reasons they decide to come back to me. Helps build a great relationship with clients.
