* UPDATE * I had issues with the light and customer service sent me another one that has been working great. Upgrading my review to 5 stars. Great customer service. Pam with Neweer did the right thing. I used this light one time for about 20 minutes. I turned it on today and it was on for about 10 minutes before the light shutoff by itself. The fan continued to run but the light would not turn on. It also would not respond via the app. I unplugged for several minutes and tried again but the same thing happened. The fan cut on but the light would not. I’m using this light inside in a climate controlled environment. Hopefully this one is just a dud cause I do like Neewer products and did like the light before it stopped working. ... show more

I bought three — one started flickering and died, sent for light #4 (replacement) — worked for about a week and then died as well. At a 50% failure rate so far. Going to send for another replacement… Update: Neewer support reached out to me and sent me a third light. It seems to be working so far, I'll keep monitoring it and update here as needed -- rating changed from 2, to 3 in the mean time. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Overall, this is a good light. Is bicolor which may be good for some, I prefer the ones that are fixed on 5600K daylight temperature. Pros:  Price with coupon is $100 which is really good  A brand that delivers reliable products and has good customer support  Bowens mount which is universal and not manufacturer proprietary so you can put in virtually hundreds of modifiers or accessories  Works with an app if you want Cons:  No option to use batteries, so this can only be used if you have access to an outlet  Is on the bulky side  Lights that are bi-color (cold and warm) are not as powerful as the ones fixed on 5600K  Does not have a phisycal remote control which I like On my experience, for the same price you better get the Newer CB-60L because:  Price is about $90  You can use with batteries  Small footprint  Lightweight I unified to this brand and I do not regret it! ... show more

    • stopped working
I used this product for about 6 days. I turned it on for about 3 hours per day, and the light stopped working. Its not turning on. Is a good product, very portable and all but not so reliable.

The NEEWER CB60B 70W LED Video Light with 2.4G&APP Control, Bi Color 2700K-6500K 31000Lux at 1m/CCT Mode/CRI97+/12 Scenes/Bowens Mount Continuous Light for Studio/Outdoor Photography/Video Recording This is a solid 70 watt draw, 31000Lux output (with reflector), continuous photo/video light. The fixture can use any Bowens mount modifiers and is also controllable from a Bluetooth mobile app or from the controls on the back of the light. It is well made and shares a similar body design to other Neewer fixtures I have used, both strobe and continuous. The body is a bit large compared to other things on the market with a similar output, however using a similar design to their other fixtures I'm sure keeps the cost down and provides very good cooling. The body of the fixture is metal and the front and back have some ABS parts as well. I have been using COB continuous lights more and more in my productions both photo and video. I really like lighting with several lower power lights like this, instead of giant strobes, for many of my recent photo projects. It's uses for video are obvious, however I really like using these for stills as well. The color rendition of this light is very good, and you can dial in the exact color temp you need, very useful for mixed lighting environments. Fixtures like this are perfect for augmenting the existing light in a room, or use several to create a controlled environment. These are best indoors or at night, as it will not compete with full noon sun, otherwise these are great in allot of situations. I do recommend getting a few as multiple fixtures opens up allot of versatility and can be controlled in groups from the app. I have a few of the RGB versions as well as this one and they make a fantastic creative set. I am very grateful to have this in my lighting kit, and I have been getting allot of use out of it in my productions. This is a solid light definitely capable of pro quality work. I always recomend paying attention to the lumens or Lux and not the watts. the watts in these lights refers to power draw not power output. ... show more
