I bought this to replace a $50 Ikea desk that was bending in the center. I have a fairly heavy desktop computer on my desk with 3 or 4 monitors depending on how I have it set up. The Ikea desk appeared to have a wooden top, but it was actually hollow and filled with particle board. This desk is over double the price, but you easily get your money's worth from it. The top is an actual slab of wood, and is reinforced with a metal frame around the outer edge. It is much much heavier than my old desk (and for good reason), but I still found it fairly easy to assemble. The frame is fairly thick, and there's not much of a lip where the wooden top extends past it. My Vivo monitor stands were able to clamp around the metal frame without any trouble. However, the clamps for both my mic stand and racing wheel could not open far enough to get around the metal frame, and the lip of the wooden top does top extend far enough to hold them. This wasn't a huge issue for me as my mic does not need that stand and the separate stand I had to buy for the racing wheel made it better to use anyway, but it's definitely worth considering if you need anything clamped around the desk. I had a very hard time finding a simple, sturdy desk like this that can hold a lot of weight, and I was very happy with this one ... show more

This is a solid desk I have had for more than a year and enjoyed it - I replaced a Costco table that was meant to be an inexpensive desk, but the Costco table sagged in the middle which made everything unstable. This desk fixed that and was easy to assemble. It feels solid and has been dependable. Very nice purchase. This is the best table of this kind you can get. Amazing value too. It looks great, it is sturdy as can be. The surface material is durable and scratch resistant. Assembly could not have been easier, just screw the legs on. The levelers on the legs work very well. Definitely recommend this table. I'll be getting more of these. ... show more

Table was easy to assemble and the only fault was table top had damage of paint due to previous handling before packing. Finger prints and dirty edges I can’t seem to clean. I contacted the company and they recommended not painting it and I had already gotten rid off the box so no returning of the table. im probably just dumb but one of the legs kinda bend but it doesn’t wobble or anything. i put it together in like 30 minutes so that was nice and it’s heavy so pretty sturdy.
