I bought 2 for my grandkids. They love the Gremlins movie and this will be for Christmas. Great value and I even was impressed. Gizmo moves side to side and hums the song like in the movie. I am excited for the kids to open this on Christmas day

The media could not be loaded. I was a little concerned about what I would be getting after reading reviews of people receiving ones that quit working after the first use and other issues resulting in the product being returned. This was not the case with the one I received. He's so adorable and works great! I love that he sounds just as he did in the movie and that its not some knock-off robotic sounding imitation or worse. Gizmo has always held a very special place in my heart, ever since my grandmother bought me an original Hasbro Gizmo doll for Christmas after tge original movie hit theaters. After she passed, my mother sold him at a garage sale. Now, in my forties I have both movies and a growing collection of Gizmos. I love this new edition to my collection! UPDATE I'm sharing a video of Gizmo in action. Word of caution, I don't know about anyone else's experience, but Gizmo is POSSESSED! He is hyper sensetive to vibration and sound, so no sudden movements or sounds lol! I frickin love this little guy! Remember the 3 rules of mogwai care and you'll be just fine. I first ran into this item at a local toy shore. My wife and son loved it. I went back for it but he was gone!!!! So coming across Gizmo on Amazon was a big deal. Despite the hiccups in shipping Gizmo arrived just in the nick of time for the holidays!! Thank you Amazon for making this happen. Props to customer support. Gizmo himself is constructed decently enough. No sweatshop pattern baldness issues. No loss of clumps of hair while handling. Soft plastic or flexible ears would have been a nice touch, and initially that irked me UNTIL, my wife decided they were too hard to allow Gizmo to be near the bed. Ummm, ok. Thumbs up to the designers! Unpackaging was a non issue. Removing the demo tag was not a big deal. What was a big deal was activating him. There were no instructions about how you get him to do his "creepy" tune. No buttons, so don't even try. No motion sensor, so waving at him isn't going to work. It is sound activated! Which is a good thing. After you come off the high of 80's nostalgia, Gizmo promotes quiet. No loud noise, no singing !!! His eyes do not move, which is good. If a sensor allowed them to follow motion, it might become uncomfortable. Creepy is a better word. But in the end, he is awesome. I'm just waiting for my son to try and feed him after midnight. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I love ❤️ the movie Gremlins so when I went to Best Buy by coincidence I was browsing the store and I found Gizmo and when I touch it started singing the melody that’s when I fell in love 🥰 so I was undecided weather I wanted to buy it or not. I decided not to buy since my birthday was coming I sent a video to my immediate family and told them I want it but they had bought me a gift already I was bummed 😩! I then decided to buy myself so I made an online purchase to find out later they were sold out! So my sister decided she was going to get it for me so that’s when I came to Amazon and behold THEY HAD IT IN STOCK AND I WILL GET IT THE NEXT DAY!! (Prime member) I was so happy with my Gizmo it was just the perfect birthday gift! 💝 If you love Gremlins the movie and Gizmo this is the gift 🎁 for you what are you waiting for!     • Great gizmo, just arrived today and doesn’t have defects like most I’ve seen!
I would recommend this gizmo to anyone, I went to Best Buy and got two had to return them. Due to how bad the fur and glue was stuck all over it with missing fur patches over the eyes and home in the back of the neck. Definitely go with Amazon is your looking for one! 10/10!
