I have used many sheet sets over the years and I only buy 100% cotton. I have one Nautica set that is at least 10 years old. Nothing is ever as good as they used to be but I think these will be fine. A quality brand 200 thread count sheets are great for summer, the lighter the better. These are not marked percale on the package. I do not think they are scratchy and will soften with use and washing with a little fabric softener. The sailing salt color is light gray with a hint of lavender maybe. ... show more

I bought these for myself and I absolutely love them. They fit my mattress snugly and they have the perfect cotton texture that I love in the summe. I use jerseys material all winter long but these would work just as well year round. All in all a great bargain for the price. Two thumbs up!

The navy is beautiful. When they arrived they felt silky not cotton and not a percale and had a smell to them. I washed twice to get the stench out which in turn washed the silkyness away. They are now a crisp cotton and a bit rough but that is what we were looking for. So essentially I washed the chemicals out of them or the treatment. Challenging to find 100% percale sheets. These were precisely what I wanted. Soft after laundering, cool to the touch and without the slip n slide feeling of Sateen which feels synthetic to me. No problem regarding wrinkling!

I was so hopeful for these sheets, but was disappointed. They felt crisp when I first took them out of the package, but after washing they lost crispness and became rough. They were not cool either. If you truly want cool and crisp percale sheets, these are not for you.
