I purchased a Nautica quilt very similar to this one last year and have been very happy with it. I bought it because it was 100% cotton and had a lovely quilted pattern. I thought this quilt would be just as nice but 1) the batting on this quilt is 20% polyester (unlike the first one I purchased which was all cotton), and 2) pattern on this quilt is a print. It's not different strips of fabric sewn together like you would expect. I'm definitely disappointed in the way this looks... very fake. But, my son liked it and I couldn't find a different quilt that we both liked so we are keeping this one. The outside of the quilt is 100% cotton which is what I was looking for but it did seem to shrink slightly after a wash and dry. I do like that it's lightweight as we live in Texas and don't need anything heavy. Also, the shams do match which I am thankful for. Others have posted that their shams have mismatched patterns. I bought the king size for a queen bed because the sides reach the base of my bed. I am pleased with the quality and have washed it to find it comes out nice, without lumps or wrinkles. Added some navy pillow and some nautical matching pillows. Love it

Love how this ensemble came together. The quilt looks and feels great. I think it’s a great value and highly recommend. Only nitpick is it smelled a bit like what I can best describe as damp hay, but after a week or so, it has “aired out.” Would purchase again.
