My first purchase was Maritime Blue. First impression was that it was generic cheap stuff, likely due to noticing that the material appeared thin. However after wearing it and the Grey Heather, I found that they were light weight (good for warm weather), and the stitching and material seemed to be good quality. Fits well as a small, maybe just a tad long. They’ve through one wash and came out fine. No shrinking, fading or running. The Maritime Blue material is similar to a tightly woven dress shirt. The Heather grey is slightly stretchy, but not as much as sweat pants. Note that the latter is lightish grey, although the Amazon picture of it looks white. The print of the latter is attractive. This is my 2nd pair of these the first was the light blue this pair was the blue and white checked pair. The material seems different on these not as soft a bit more like a pair of scrubs lightweight but a bit stiff. Hoping the wash will soften them some. They are lightweight true to size I am almost 6ft.170 lbs a large is perfect a med would be too small no doubt. Nice comfortable guessing 31=32 in length. Not relaxed fit. I did and would buy again not sure how they hold up after laundry workmanship appears good. Update after wearing these I would not purchase the blue and white checked pair again.The material is different not as soft and clings to me like a polyester type even though it says cotton .The solid light blue pair is way better a lot softer and more comfortable. Bother are lightweight but the checked pair are like a poly blend material neither are a relaxed fit do have a one button fly opening .I like a lightweight because if cold I can wear a robe over them comfortably when lounging if needed.Avoid navy white checked. ... show more
