My son is a member of the Federation of North-American Explorers scouting movement, which wears navy shorts as part of their uniform. These shorts wash well (no fading), wear well (no tears, etc. while camping or playing games), and he says they are super comfortable, especially when he puts stuff in the pockets. These shorts are great for preschool children how need the look of uniform shorts but also prefer the pull on and off. Unfortunately these were big on the waist for my son.
