Both containers are broken. The product smells like it is rancid. Both containers look like they are crushed. They came in a brown paper package, they should have been packaged in a box where they would have had more support and would have been more protected.

After buying three products to mix to make lotion bars that smelled horrible, I tried this and it is perfect. Really easy to use, no smell so adding your own oils creates really nice fragrance lotion bars. Excellent for dry skin and in the winter. Great product!

    • Horrible smell, horrible feel.
Had a very bad old smell, like old beeswax or old canola oil. Fragrance did nothing to hide this Oder and my expensive fragrance was completely overpowered. All around the container and on the top was this thick rubbery substance that would not melt and when heated up the product smelled STRONGLY of vinegar. This ended up being an ounce of the product. The feel of the finished product was awful. There is way more wax in this than needs to be and resulted in a thick, waxy feel that was impossible to rub into and onto the skin. This is a review of my second order of this product. First one smelled like rancid grease, so they shipped me a new one, very quickly I might add. But it doesn't matter if it magically appeared the moment I requested it because THIS ONE SMELLS PUTRID TOO!! I suggest this company inspect their products or how about an expiration date. Things like beeswax, cocao butter and coconut oil have a shelf life, folks. And it's NOT FOREVER, or however long this crap sits in a warehouse. Totally disgusted!! ... show more

I’d give it zero if I could ! The smell of this product is GOD AWFUL ! It has been sitting in my house for HOURS ! Not even an essential oil could save this product . I try and give a business the benefit of the doubt and I should have trusted the reviews ! It’s yellow , and has a disgusting film over the top . I made 100 lotion bars with this base for my business, and none of them were usable due to the old shelf life smell from this lotion base. Financially took a 600.00 loss on this batch and I would not ever use this product again!
