For those who need to know the exact measurements for these (spoiler alert, they are not what is listed in the specs, but very close) I have taken a minute to get them and post photos here, also. I was on the hunt for shelves that would do two things: hold some very old bowls and save me the money of buying a custom sized plate rack, and also they had to be less than 23 inches long in order to fit correctly on the side of my cabinet and many of these only come in increments of 16 and 24 inches. These ones are listed at 23.1 inches and I was actually extremely hopeful that they would come in shorter than that and, thank the stars, they did :) See attached pics: the actual length is 22 3/4"; the depth is a tad over 4 3/4"; and the height is exactly 4". No pic but the usable inside span is exactly 21 1/2". These things won't generally matter if you are using these as nursery shelving but for those who need these for other purposes and/or for tricky spaces, this information may be helpful. The hardware wasn't needed for me because I had to have very short screws to not go so deep into my cabinet but also keep in mind if you need to switch out hardware that the screw heads are going to have to be extremely tiny so you will be looking for specialized screws. The metal of the ones provided is the cheap soft kind that will strip if you look at it the wrong way so you probably don't want to mess with that. Overall I'm really impressed with these and would buy them again. The quality, ease of putting together, the depth and look are perfect for my needs. I had been considering spending almost 200 dollars to build a rack for my bowls (I will be putting a third shelf up after moving some stuff around, just two shown for now) and this is so much easier and cost effective and I can actually spread them out if I want to down the road. I highly recommend, just keep the measurements in mind if that is a concern for you.

This is the 2nd set of shelves that I ordered as the price, quality, and usefulness were spot on! I ordered the 23-inch shelves in natural. Another post with photos showed the shelves with actual measurements with a measuring tape, which I referenced to make sure that the shelves would fit where I needed them to go. These are going behind a bedroom door and on a closet wall, in an l-shape. The shelves come well packaged, with an extra screw and dowel piece for putting the shelves together, and wall anchors and screws (the weakest part of this shelf set...we'll get to that later). Another post also mentioned that the books slide through when tipped, which the paperback books do, but not the hardback books. This is unfortunate, but I will be fixing this by gluing a small strip of wood as a stopper that you can find at most hardware and craft stores. I like these shelves because they are real wood, deeper than other similar types of shelves, and have a high cross bar to keep books from tipping out. I have other shelves for books that have a low cross bar, so that can be a problem, too. There is a coating on these shelves that make the wood feel smooth....you can feel it on 3 of the 4 sides. (Make note of this if when you place the cross bar so the smooth side is facing out and not in.) The downside of these shelves is the metal hanging bracket and screw/anchor set. Originally, I was going to use a heavier dute wall anchor and screw set for hanging the shelves, but the metal hanging bracket on the shelves would not fit any if the ither screws I had on hand. It's made for a smaller screw head style. So I had to use the provided anchor and screw set, which I don't think is sturdy enough to handle kids who might pull down on the shelves. Anyway, when I was drilling my pilot holes, I hit wood on one side (yes...I did not try to find the studs before hanging), but I had used a drill bit that was too large for the screw, so I had to fill my hole with filler, then put the screw in since I was unable to find a suitable alternative without a trip to the hardware store. The side with the anchor was fine getting it in. Also, the directions are printed both on a piece of paper and on the box the shelves come in. It would have been nice if they would have printed the drill spacing on the box, too, that I could have used as a guide. I made my own from the box, but a pre-made guide would have been nice since they printed information on the outside of the box, anyway. All-in-all, I do recommend these shelves due to the quality of the materials, the overall construction of the shelves, and the price point.

Greta pricing option, easy or assemble, a little difficult to get straight if your not good at that it got them hung easily. They hold plenty of books and look great! I was worried about the weight but they’re still holding strong. They also hold a good amount, babt blocky books like good night moon. Fits like 4-6 from back to front.

These shelves are not quite what my husband and I expected. The shade of the wood looks significantly lighter in person than what is shown in the picture online, and the wood grains are much more defined. We also received a chipped piece of wood that had clearly been patched with wood glue, and one of the pieces was bowed upon arrival. The hardware that came with the shelves was also not great quality, and some screws and anchors were bent. At the end of the day, the shelves look okay and they are sturdy enough to get the job done, but they were not worth the money in my opinion.

The product is good quality, shelf’s are wood, lightweight (maybe one pound),easy to put toquetee. Took me around 5 minutes or less. After built feels strong and everything looks where suppose to be. I put them with a nano tape for walls and works fine. Not need a drill.
