Love the item but missing cover to the batteries for bug light enclosure. Was not in box or anything and can't get a new one. Hoping seller will send us a cover since it costs so much. We will see.

I purchased this for my niece’s 5th birthday. She is a bug enthusiast and was excited to use it. Unfortunately, the vacuum didn’t work. Thanks to Amazon, it was easy enough to send back & get a replacement, and the replacement worked fine. If you’re giving this as a gift, I recommend opening it in advance, installing batteries and checking to make sure it works before you give it to a child. My niece was disappointed that her present didn’t work right from the get go. Once we got the replacement, she was very happy with it. She liked the bug container as much as she liked the bug vacuum. She needed help catching bugs with the vacuum, but she was thrilled to watch the bugs in the container.

I thought this was going to be the best gift ever, but I was wrong. The suction was almost zero. The only “bugs” that would actually get sucked up were the tiny sponge bugs that it came with. It was a waste of money and batteries.
