I love Naturalizer, but this boot wasn’t for me. Pros: Super comfy, good color, good shaft height, seemed well made. Easy to walk in, heel height was perfect. Cons: Calf was snug for regular sized calves. It would be fine if you only want to wear them but if you want to tuck jeans in at all, you’d be out of space. It felt like it would chafe. Toe box was extra long for some reason, had over a thumbs width of toe space but toes were a bit scrunched. Unfortunately returned because they just weren’t right for me. ... show more

These boots look great on and the leather and construction of them has been excellent so far, so I think will be worth the big difference in price from synthetic material. My main complaint is that the toe box is constricting and hasn’t really changed with time to break them in. The chunky heel is a manageable height for me to walk in comfortably, but is a bit loud like I think of when wearing high heel shoes. Adding a gel insert improves comfort quite a bit, as I wouldn’t want to walk in these for several hours as is. ... show more

    • Very Comfy and Fit My Small Calves!!!!

Love these! It's near impossible to find boots that fit my skinny calves. Few shoe makers make a narrow shaft. The foot bed runs a little large but the 13" shaft fits great. They could have tapered them a bit more at the top but that is just being extra picky. :) I normally wear a 6 - 6.5 and I ordered these in 6 narrow calf in black. I maybe even could have gone down to a 5.5 since my feet are slightly narrow. I do have a high arch and these have the room to accommodate that. They do have a longish toe box so may not be great for large shoe size. Like another reviewer mentioned who was questioning whether hers were counterfeit mine came in a plain brown box. They did have a Naturalizer tag attached and as she mentioned had a black zipper pull. There were 3 initials on the pull - YKK?? I had seen these at Macys (didn't have my size) and they did have a black pull. Mine hadn't arrived yet and so I hadn't thought to look at the pull when I saw them there to see if it had the same initials. And the boots I purchased were marked down when I don't think any of the others were so that also made me question the authenticity. Wore them for the first time today and they are very comfortable from the get go. No need to break them in. I think they are over priced but with my discount and the fact that they fit I had to go to the expense. **Came back to add this - I was concerned on how the leather would hold up. These boots are lovely, but they have an oddly long toe. It's more than just having an almond-shaped toe. There's "too much shoe" at the front. I put them side by side with my current, but worn out, very similar boots, and they are considerably longer. The old boots also have a slight almond toe, so I'm baffled. I had to return these as it felt like wearing clown shoes. Maybe if you have very long toes these will be perfect for you? 🤔 ... show more

The first pair I ordered were my regular shoe size that I wear but were too small. They squeezed my foot and the toe was getting a bit too close to the end. Sometimes I use inserts and they certainly would not have worked with the first pair. With Amazon’s wonderful return policy, I exchanged the boot for a larger and wider pair. They fit perfectly now. Love the style of the boot too. However I can’t comment on the comfort after extended hours of wearing. ... show more

These are really nice boots. Simple and classic and the price was right. Unfortunately they were too wide in the calf for me. There are boots made with wider calf’s for those that need them. It would be nice to be able to find boots made for those of us whose are thinner (not better!).
