The Naturalizer Fae High Shaft Knee Boot made a great first impression before I even removed it from the box. The color in the photo looks very light tan. It is called Peanut Butter. In person the color looks exactly like the smooth, creamy, highly addictive peanut butter in a jar that we all know and love. It is exactly the color boot that I have been looking for in GENUINE LEATHER that has been highly elusive. I ordered the Peanut Butter color, plus the Chocolate Brown in size 11 Wide. The brown is a beautiful dark brown color. The boot calf is generous but not huge. It's just right with some slack to wear tights, thin leggings, or slim jeans. I plan to wear opaque tights with knee length denim dresses and the Peanut Butter color will look really good with the gold stitching of denim clothing. The toe of the boot is rounded and the width of the foot is adequate. The heel is chunky and about 2" high. This is ideal for me considering I have flat feet and I prefer a heel but it needs to be very stable and I seek non slip, non noisy soles with good tread. I love the genuine leather and I despise plastic vinyl shoes that are ruining feet all over the world. I also like the small zipper just above the ankle on the side of the boot. A boot with the small zipper always fits me better than a full length zipper possibly because the calf opening is more generous in this style boot. This helps because no matter what shoes I wear I experience slight swelling of my right ankle nearly every day by the end of the day. There is a seam around the upper ankle of this boot and in my experience this is a true sign of quality in the Fae boot and the ankle will not be baggy.

These boots are really beautiful. The quality of the suede is top notch and they are super comfortable, no break-in period. I normally wear a size 8 and the boots I purchased are an 8. They fit perfectly. As with all my boots I always need to find the perfect sock thickness for the boot and these are no different. I use a slightly thicker sock. Other reviews have said the width around the top of the boot is a bit wide and I don't disagree but not a deal breaker. They also slouch a bit which looks cool. I've worn them with dresses and jeans and get a lot of compliments! Size purchased: 8 regular width. Size I normally wear: 8

Nice boots. Ordered 6-1/2. Too small. Ordered a 7 which took some time to arrive. They sent a 7 in the wide calf so the foot part fit but the upper boot was way to wide for my legs. Have to send back reluctantly because they are very nice suede boots. Heel height is just right. Not too high. Can't find a regular 7 anywhere. They are a popular boot.

These were a cute, modern cowboy but were oddly wide in the ankle. My calves are more athletic and I really need a slim fit in the ankle to avoid the appearance of cankles. They had to go back.

I’m 5’7” and have 18.25” calves. I have a hard time finding wide calf boots that aren’t too tight and not crazy big. I ordered my usual size 9M and these fit my calves perfectly with room to spare if I choose to wear with jeans. The foot also feels comfy and no toe pinching. The ankle is loose because these are a sort of slouchy style boot, FYI. Very nice feeling quality leather.

Fell in love with these boots with their slight slouch. Very nice and soft suede leather, perfect heel hight and calf width. The ones I ordered before in black leather in size 12w (my usual size) were too long, and wide for me this time, so unfortunately I had to return them. These ones fit better lenthwise in size 11. At the begining they were a bit snug, but suede lether loosens easier than smooth leather, so after wearing them for a day in the house they expanded to my needs and fit perfectly now. I'm absolutely happy I got them. I will be getting them in other colors too.
