look, it does have an awful smell. Kind of reminds me of a tattoo shop so I don't really care. What i do care about is I am a single mom, and I'm not someone who should be drilling holes into anything. I probably did these both wrong and it's whatever. just wish there was pre drilled holes. as i absolutely do not trust myself. I did it anyway. they'll have to do. Item came as described. The table, tables in my case, is not exactly what is in the picture but a nice cross section of whatever type of tree they used to get it from. They use some type of polyurethane to seal any large gaps/cracks in the wood. And that stuff has a definitive odor to it. I solved the issue with several uses of an orange oil based furniture polish. Other than that it was easy to install. I used my cordless drill to drive the screws right in without the need for drilling pilot holes. And the included feet make sure the table sits level on most surfaces. Gave it a 4/5 due to the odor that had to be solved with furniture polish and some slight scuffing on one of the 2 tables that I purchased, which can only be faintly seen after polishing them. ... show more

I love this table but I am very bummed that it came with something stuck to the wood and it transfered on to the table . Now it has a little stain that I cannot seem to take off. Aside from that this table is easy to assemble and very sturdy. Just wish it didn't have this .

Hardwood, had to be pre-drilled in order to put together. Had to have handyman predrill and put together, as a woman, I was not strong enough to drill legs into hardwood. Looks fantastic!

So, I'll start with the pros (pro). It is a cool looking table. That's the only pro. Cons: I bought two of these tables and I get they are live edge. They look different. Not a problem. But...the finish is different on both of them. One feels like it's done correctly and it's smooth and "finished" on top. The second one is super waxy and feels not quite done. It's much more "rustic". I also included a photo of the directions. No holes drilled (what the hell?!) and, they aren't exactly descriptive. They basically felt like someone patted me on the back and said "good luck"! For the price, I'm super disappointed. Not just for the lack of awesome instructions, or for the fact that I have to become Joanna Gains if I want a table but truthfully, the finish is strange too on one. To the owners: sounds like you have some ironing out to do with your business. You may be slammed with orders and that's cool, but you have to iron out these things first. I don't have time to run two businesses, be a mom to 4 boys, and now I have to figure out how to get these screws in without trashing my tables. Oy. ... show more

When we took this out of the box I was instantly in love with the way the table looks. BUT, when we tried to attach the legs, we could only get two of the legs to line up with the pre-drilled holes. Fortunately my husband is very handy and was able to adjust the hole in the top of the leg and we were finally able to get the third leg attached. One other item to note - this table has a very weird chemical smell that lasted a couple of weeks. All in all I am now happy with this table. It looks great and is sturdy. Would I buy it again? Probably, but it was kind of a pain to get it to a point where I am happy with it. ... show more
