I was looking for real silk pillow cases to help my hair, skin, and especially my eyelash extensions. I sleep on my side and with cotton pillowcases I noticed the outer corners of my lashes were shedding faster on the side I favored. Since buying these pillowcases I've had less lashes shed on the outer corners, no breakouts or super oily skin in the mornings, and zero frizz to my curls. Highly recommend! I wash it every other day while I'm in the shower just before I get out with tepid water, hang them to dry on my shower rack and when I get home from work they're dry and ready to go back on my pillowcase. DO NOT USE REGULAR DETERGENT. I found that if I use my rose Love Beauty & Planet body wash it's gentle enough to get the job done and smells amazingggg. Also, don't wring it out, do your best to be gentle as possible when distributing the cleanser, and rinse really well. To add more softness just put a little bit of conditioner (again, I use Love Beauty & Planet) on it then rinse it out good again. Roll it loosley on a towel to excrete some moisture before hang drying is helpful too. None of my pillowcases have any rips or tears after numerous washes so I know I'm doing something right.

This pillowcase is FAKE and is NOT SILK, it’s polyester! This knockoff is actually satin, aka: man-made polyester. Real silk is shiny on both sides. This is not. If you compare the outside fabric to the inside, one side is dull. It should be shiny in both sides of the fabric. I should have known by the price, but no one mentioned it in the reviews. I had to verify the pillowcase’s fabric in person. Shame, shame for selling a fake product!

Wow... this is a really nice silk pillowcase. I purchased this pillowcase this week and just love, love, love it! So smooth! So cool, just perfect! I really don't think you will be disappointed either. I own many silk pillowcases (I know, I'm not right...) but this one is just heavenly to lie on. Most of my other cases do not come close to the exquisite feel of this case. I don't know how it will wash up yet, but if it doesn't meet the 5 stars I will revise my review.

I love the way these pillow cases feel on my skin! It is soft and feels cool to my face. I’ve also noticed my hair is hardly frizzy compared to when I would sleep with cotton pillow cases. I washed it before trying it out for the first time. Read washing instructions carefully as some care is needed. I let my daughter use it because she has very long curly hair and it looked fantastic in the morning. I really like this and will be buying more.

Received today, quickly realized it felt nothing like real silk (real silk should not catch at all as your hand runs over it) then performed a burn test on some stray threads which confirmed it's fake (burned fast and had to be blown out.) It's a shame since this came in a lot more fun colors, but if you're looking for a silk pillowcase for skin/hair purposes, this is not the product you're looking for.

I ordered 2 because I use two pillows and didn't want to discriminate against one side! They come in nifty little boxes and an instruction manual on how to wash, dry and use them, though that's not hard to surmise. They are exactly what they advertise, very soft, smooth and incredibly comfortable! I especially like that they keep cool through the night. I usually shift a lot from one side to the other because the pillow gets warm, but with these, I'm not moving much at night! Not sure if it's a good thing or a bad thing! Here's another thing that I'm not sure if it's good or bad! Treat yourself, sure! Get these! But since I started using them, I've been hitting the old snooze button much more than I used to. Coincidence? Perhaps! They truly are awesome! Highly recommended!
