The media could not be loaded. I’m a new momma for 4 years now lol , but I used to do my makeup frequently, but after babies I just really never touched my brushes or makeup and what I didn’t give away I threw away , so I decided that needing to do my makeup for my wedding was great reason enough to but some new brushes. They’re soft and don’t smell weird so quality I would say is good for what I needed them for. They blended very well and definitely don’t look cheap. Totally worth my money for a whole new quality set .

The goat hairs are soft, thick, and seem to be of good quality. The only reason for giving this makeup brush set less than 5 stars is the smell. Initially, there was a chemical odor from the brushes, but it easily washed away with a mild dishwashing liquid. The largest brush, however, reeked of stinky goat. But because it's an odor from an animal (and not chemical or synthetic residue), you can use more natural ways of deodorizing the brushes. What worked for me was washing it with saddle soap (even a suede/nubuck cleaner will work) and following it up with an overnight vinegar soak. I'd avoid using any harsh synthetic deodorizers (like for carpets soiled by pets) since the brushes will be touching your face. Otherwise, I'm really happy with them and excited to see how much they improve my makeup (I was using just fingers and tissue before, so I'm sure they'll be a drastic improvement).

I bought these thinking they were going to be a premium makeup brush set, but as soon as I started applying makeup, the bristles began shedding right away. At first, I thought it was just one brush, but unfortunately, they all did it. The set looked nice and felt soft at first, but the shedding made them unusable. Sadly, I ended up returning them.

The reason I am giving it 3 stars, is because the bristle is not very soft and I don't like how it feels on my skin when I am applying my makeup. it feels a little prickly when the brushes touch my face. otherwise, they would be perfect. I still recommend them, if you don't mind a bit of a stiff brush. 6/10 recommend.

These brushes are truly the bees knees! They are the best ever I have used. I don’t have any sniffles or anything when applying makeup. I can get as close into my eye area as I want to. I can do the fine details wherever I want to and I don’t have reactions. They're easy to clean and they dry fast!
