  • Great Quick read with Natural Remedies for Beauty
I love that these use natural ingredients and are simple to create. There were many gems in this book and I love that it was broken into two parts. Skin and Hair, the quintessential pillars of beauty.

  • Great read
Worth the buy! Really formative and straightforward! Great recipes and hair ideas! I would have like a section on heat and grow but otherwise would recommend.

  • Very informative and it works for me.
This is a very informative book. It doesn't oversaturate you with information. The facial recipes are simple and I can honestly say that in the past two days there has been a noticeable change to my skin. The dark spots are starting to fade and my pores are getting smaller. As far as the hair part of the book, it gives you great ideas on detangling. ... show more

The author provides encouragement and great advice for hair and skin care . I would definitely recommend this book to anyone wanting to transition, like myself, and wanting tips on skin care.

  • Worst type of guide - this book is only enough for 'ethnic' women, not women with difficult type 4 hair
Basic information is somewhere in here, but it is much too long and unfocused. So little information about how to care for the most high-maintenance hair type. My favorite books about natural-hair care are "Natural Hair Real Talk" by Jacquetta Daye and "The Natural Hair Handbook" by Shawntay Jones. This book is exactly what I don't like about cosmetic beauty guides: verbose teaching, but not relatable and without the human touch of a friend who has found the secret. Great books written in a relatable voice that are sure to end your hair stress are "How to Care for Your Natural Hair" by Lola Fowora and "The Art of Natural Hair" by Lori D. Baxter. The second book is just what routine works for the author, but I included this book because her hair looks fantastic, and also that book is a good example of why the book by Niambi J Dennis is so wrong. ... show more
