To be fair, I bought these in the hopes of replicating the amazing scent and benefits of my Buff City Soap Rose bars without having to leave the house to purchase them. Overall the bars do a good job of making the skin feel cleansed but the scent is not the traditional rose scent that I am used to, its a bit mustier more herbal than floral. I probably wont be reordering this particular scent but based on the quality of the soap itself and the fast shipping I will probably give this makers other scents a try. ... show more

I ordered the Cedar charcoal rose and it smells amazing! I have also ordered the rose honey and that one is also amazing! I have not used the rose honey but I have tried the Cedar charcoal rose and it lathers wonderfully leaving the skin so soft and clean! You get two pretty good size bars also which is great for the price! Great value for such good soap! I have paid ten dollars for one bar at it's size and to be honest this one seems a little better especially with the lathering and only you get two bars!! I highly recommend this soap for anyone! This soap is nice for moisturizing, average for lather, but the scent is unimpressive. Very subtle , not unpleasant , But I don't pick up any scent of rose or cedar. The soap arrived quickly and I was surprised by how soft it left my skin. I loved that the smell is present but subtle. The soap comes in half-just an FYI-in case you want it whole. I recommend for anyone looking for a natural soap with a soft scent. =)
