Update 1/15 - Seller requested additional photos and took responsibility. Seller was professional and helpful. A refund was offered withy return. Overall experience with seller was positive. Original Post - Daughter loves the skates but the pair we bought came with a defect. There appears to be the number 30 marked in yellow on the back of the one skate. Nothing will get it off, tried a magic eraser and bought white shoe polish but the number remains. It's soaked into the material. Disappointed the manufacturer let this escape. ... show more

I grew up skating on a frozen pond right outside my house and was on the ice almost every single day in the winter, so I’m pretty picky when it comes to skates. After years of not skating much, a new community ice skating center just opened down the street from me, and I wanted something affordable but still legit to get back into it. These Nattork women’s figure skates really surprised me. And I love the inserts they provided, which makes it more comfortable. Right out of the box, they feel solid and supportive without being stiff or uncomfortable. The ankle support is good, which I really appreciate now that I’m not skating daily like I used to. The stainless steel blades came nicely sharpened and glided smoothly, with no wobbling or sketchy feeling when picking up speed or doing basic turns. They lace up snug and feel secure, kind of like a classic figure skate but without the crazy price tag. I’ve used them multiple times at the rink already and they’ve been comfortable for longer sessions, no painful pressure points or blisters. For recreational skating, practice, or just enjoying time on the ice, these are a great option for both teens and adults getting back into skating. Honestly, they brought back a lot of memories of pond skating days, just now with a warm indoor rink and a lot less falling.
