Finally comfortable skates!
I tried pair after pair this year trying to buy my first set of ice skates as an adult in her 20s with only about 5 years of seasonal skating experience under my belt. I sent back so many skates that didn’t fit or were uncomfortable and was finally very satisfied with these. I was nervous based on other reviews about how they’d do on the ice, but they were perfect. I saw a review about bulkiness and while I have to admit, I was at first not sure which skate was the left and which was the right, it does not impact my range of motion on the ice for what movements I want to do (just normal ice skating) in the slightest. No more soppy cold crummy rental skates! Hooray! I’ve already recommended these to so many friends especially for getting them at a steal of a price compared to other adult skates. I worried about skates meant for boys possibly having a weight capacity, but I’m over 200lb and have not had any problem with their durability in the slightest. ... show more

Sturdy, but too bulky

They look pretty sturdy, but they were way too bulky to be able to skate properly. And the plastic under the skate, didn't look like it would hold up in really cold temperatures. I tend to skate whenever I have the chance, including negative degrees and I was afraid of the plastic snapping of it got hit, as it's not connected to anything. But the biggest reason I returned, was you couldn't really maneuver your feet correctly, it was more like a snow board boot fit than ice skates. But I'm sure they would keep your feet warm and toasty and they fit all the way up to a men's 9/ women's 11. So that was nice. But I returned them, so I don't know how they actual handle on the ice. ... show more

Nicely made skates
I bought for my grandson for Christmas. They are adjustable so he can grow with them. We will try them out this weekend

Okay for short time
Color: Blue - lightning Size: Medium(1-4)
My son LOVED them for playing hockey. However after the 5th time we put them on the loops pulled right out of the stitching. I ordered another pair from a different company.

They work
Color: Blue - lightning Size: Medium(1-4)
My son wanted to learn to skate and play hockey. I found these as a cheaper alternative to learn to skate and grow with instead of other big name brands. And they have done the trick, making it a great simple way to teach him while being able to adjust the size as he grows. The only complaint is the laces are very very cheap and started fraying within a few uses ... show more
