Nice garland. The battery box on it is pretty big, but you can switch from multi color, white, flashing or not. The lights also have a timer on them and automatically shut off and come on at the same time each day. There's lots of fancy garland hangers out there for sale, but I just used zip ties around my banister. The garland is big enough to hide it. ... show more

Absolutely gorgeous what a deal so easy to setup and yes battery pack is kind of big but so worth it to not have any plugs to deal with. Also all the different lightning options on these oh my. And yes once you turn them on its set a on a 6 hour timer so they shut off after 6 hours once you have turned them on. So timer is not adjustable but its there. My only regret is not getting more of these and the holiday is young so maybe i will lol. Super great buy. I would definitely recommend these. ... show more

This garland looks very nice. It is battery operated which I wasn’t aware of when I bought it. When you turn it on, it only stays on for a few hours and automatically turns off. When you turn it back on it turns on to the next setting and you have to click the button several times to get it back to the original white lights. It has different settings of colors and flashing lights, which for me is unnecessary. I really wish I had gotten one with a plug and one setting of lights. ... show more

The battery pack and very large and heavy and located on one side of the garland. This makes it difficult to have the sides hang down from where you place it. The garland itself is also very stiff. Used outside. Two garlands were perfect around my patio door. Haven't had to change batteries and it's been over one month. Love the different options of colors and lights. Only issue is that one of the garlands does not come on at the same time every night, so I manually turn it on. Must be a problem with the timer on that one. Otherwise, the other garland turns on every night same time and turns off after six hours, like advertised. ... show more

I just put in the batteries this morning. I thought it would be a little longer but I did not measure first before ordering so this is not a reflection of the product. I love all the options and in my opinion is why the battery pack is large. The battery pack is longitudinal and not square so I didn't have a hard time conceal it behind the garland at the end where it is. Considering the other gardland with small battery pack, same price or more, one color option - I am pleased with this one. I read the reviews about the clunky battery pack but I figured it was because of all the flashing and color changing options which led me to decide it didn't outweigh the pro's. I didn't have a lot of extra money to order a garland, so I crossed my fingers and hopes this one would do. I don't mind that the battery pack is huge. It's a nice length-that's about all it has going for it. Touching the garland, in any way, causes immediate loss of plastic needles. As thin as this garland is, you really cannot afford to lose to many. Honestly, I'd be returning it if I felt like going through the hassle of doing so. ... show more
