  • arrived in good condition.
This is a great book to get you started with your telescope. The only drawback is the size of the print. It its hard to read with my 85 yr old eyes, but a page magnifier helps considerably. All in all, I'm happy.

  • The word Guide in the title can be misleadin
If you are looking for an atlas with tips on how to identify those bright points in the night sky, you will be disappointed. This book is closer to a light introduction to astronomy with basic information about the planets and constellations. It’s descriptive, meaning it talks about but doesn’t make any extra effort to show you. The maps and charts are small and don’t show context. The narratives are emphasized. The print is often too light so reading off the page is unnecessarily difficult. ... show more
