Read edit! I have been doing gelx on myself for awhile now and would like to think I’m pretty good at it. I cannot get these to stay on with the tip glue that comes with the kit. The nails aren’t popping off, they are peeling away from the gel glue leaving the gel on my natural nails. I’ve never had this happen before. I did a set three days ago and have lost a nail this way each day. I am not hard on my nails and typically have a minimum of 2 weeks for each set. I’ve attached new tips with a different gel glue, I’ll update if I have better luck. If it continues to happen, my theory is it has something to do with the “prebuffed” tip. I don’t normally buff my tips though and I’ve never had this issue before. Edit: company reached out and is working with me to fix the issue! I also have not had any peel off that I replaced using a different gel glue. ... show more

These BTArtbox gel nails arrived with a bottle of nail glue and a small nail lamp. The nails are nicely made and they fit my nail beds with very little filing. I like the length of these nails and the almond shape of them and I like that they are prebuffed.. The nails are packaged in little individual plastic bags instead of a plastic recloseable box like most nail tips are packaged. The glue is good but requires the light to cure it. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This is a nice set. But, the nail tips won't work with my deep C curves. They should work well for those with normal C curves, and wide or flat nailbeds. The media could not be loaded. This has everything you need to get started. The glue is very thick. This was a learning curve for me, I am used to thinner gel glue. The thickness is good because it won’t run onto your cuticles, but it also means it’s a bit thick and sticky and it’s hard to lift the brush away without having a string of glue want to follow and go where it shouldn’t. So just be aware of this as you get started. The nail tips are sorted into baggies and there are some half sizes too which is nice. ... show more
