  • It works sort of...
I bought this to get a head start on time spent at the nail salon when getting my nails dipped. I used pure 100% acetone and soaked my nails prior to my appointment to save some time. You just plug it in and wait. It has 3 cycles on the panel - heat, steam and warm. The machine warms the acetone which makes it more comfortable while soaking as acetone is very cold on the skin. It took about 25 mins for each hand. The so called steam feature is non-existent. I saw or felt no steam emitting from the bowl. Once the acetone melted the dip powder off I used a cuticle pusher to scrape off the access. Saved myself a half hour at the salon by soaking in the comfort of my own home. ... show more

  • Electric Nail Soaking Bowl
This handy machine is a game changer! The way it speeds up the process of acrylic and gel nails as well as the quality of removal is unmatched. It's easy to operate and there is no odor from the acetone due to the design of the product. The light indicator lets you know when it is done, and it powers down automatically. I would recommend this for anyone looking for a more efficient way of removing acrylic and gel. Absolutely! ... show more

  • Not a Fan!
Doing my nails at home, the most annoying and time-consuming part is removing the old gel polish. I typically wrap one hand with acetone and aluminum foil, always needing help with the other. I was excited to try this machine, hoping it would make the gel polish removal easier and quicker. The instructions that came with it are very basic, to say the least. There was no indication of how long each stage should take. I added acetone to the appropriate cup and turned the machine on for the warming phase. It took about ten minutes to reach the "steam" stage. After entering my right fingers, I waited for the light to indicate the warm phase. That took about 15 minutes, way too long. I could feel the burning of the acetone on my fingers, and at some point it was way too hot (as the acetone gets warmer, which should accelerate the gel polish removal process). Although my nails were soaked in the acetone for so long, I still needed to use tools to remove the polish completely. Once done with one hand, I needed to go through the entire process with the other hand. It was time-consuming, and I didn't find this method to work better, and definitely not faster than the old aluminum foil wrapping. The idea is nice, but I guess it's not for me. ... show more

  • Great nail remover
This snail remover works pretty well. I’m a beginning nail tech and I use this on my clients. It has different settings that make it a process to remove the nails. It does take a while for the nails to be completely off, but in the end it does work.

  • Great electric soak off bowl!
Love this electric soaker a lot more than some others. It has enough coverage to prevent the acetone from dissolving while also helping ensure your fingers are properly placed in the unit. It’s well built and the features are easy to understand.

  • Nail Gel Polish Soak-off Machine
This acetone-based nail gel soak off machine is ok. The worst and most difficult and time-consuming part of gel nail removal is the actual removal process. The very thing that makes gel nails to tough and resilient, is the thing that makes removing the gel difficult. I filed off the top layers of gel polish and top coat, warmed the acetone and soaked the tips. Sadly, the removal process was still tedious and time-consumming. I'm not sure if there's a trick, because professional salon removal seems faster and more efficient. I'd like to rate this 3.5 stars, as slightly above average, and rounded up to 4 stars. ... show more
