I’ve been using the Cutex Strength Shield Nail Polish Remover for a while now, and it’s become one of my go-to nail care essentials. It removes polish quickly and leaves my nails looking clean and healthy every time. Does a great job taking off nail polish but it did seem to dry out my nails and cuticles. It takes a bit of effort to remove gel nail polish. It has a very strong odor that goes away after handwashing. If you don't use it more than two or three times a month, I think the drying effect of the acetone won't be an issue.

Really pleased with how well this removed the nail extensions I did with builder gel! Since I didn’t have aluminum foil at home, I chose to hold each nail and rub repeatedly, which admittedly took longer than if I’d tried to soak them, but I didn’t want to use a bunch of product + I wanted to put this to the test. It performed beautifully and my nails aren’t stripped! It’s important to note I ordered the Ultra Powerful version. I also was removing nail tips that already had designs, and they did not have a top coat or builder gel overlay. This product did remove the finish from the tips before dissolving the tips to cut through the builder gel underneath, but in the interest of speeding things up and taking some stickiness out of the process, I quickly learned to buff the shiny finish off the tips and then use this to soak + rub a nail and builder gel off. Honestly should’ve filmed it, but this stuff works, doesn’t strip nails (mine are naturally thin so I was concerned it might!), it’s such a good value for the money! Thin nail brethren, this is your answer to not using acetone.

Wow- the best nail polish remover I’ve ever used! The other nourishing one of this brand won’t even remove regular nail polish- this one removes everything and with such ease! I don’t have to press super hard or scrub hard af over n over again. It’s even better than the one hundred percent acetone remover I usually get that costs more. I will continue to buy this exact one from now on.
