I got these to do some fancy detail painting on a prop I'm working on for a TV show. They're super thin, and it's very easy to pull a straight line if you have a steady hand. I always look for nail brushes when I need to do tiny paint jobs, as they're perfectly suited for intricate details. I probably could have cleaned them, but I find that brushes this small never seem the be as good as the first time you use them, so when I was done, I tossed the ones I used, and Stuck the others in My brush box for next time! They didn't come apart, or lose bristles on my piece, which is awesome, and I cannot stress enough how fine of a detail these are capable of. If I were a nail artist, I think I'd absolutely love these! But as a prop fabricator?? These brushes really come in handy for certain tasks. Especially really small glue application. If you can't use a syringe? next best thing is a nail art brush! I really enjoyed using them!

I just started doing my own nails, about 2/3 years ago. When I complain to you, that I've been through so many "art brushes". I have tried so many. Quite a few of them shed, but these haven't. Some of them get rusty, no body needs that. Once I ruined a brush b/c I didn't properly clean up. This set of art brushes, is great. They haven't rusted, they are easy to clean, & they work where you want them too. They have a great amount of brush on each size. The handle is very comfortable to hold, even if it's for a while. I am getting better at the art part, & these brushes are so helpful. If you're a beginner, or experienced, give them a try.

I only got to use these on my nails once before my husband made off with them to his model bench. They are good fine detail nail art brushes at an affordable price. I was able to apply fine lines and geometric shapes to my nails with ease. The smaller brushes worked better for painting designs. They come with plastic brush protectors, and I like to keep on the brush tips when not in use. They were easy to clean and didn't lose their shape when washed. My husband has been using them with acrylic paint on the models he builds and he says they work beautifully for that too. For this price, definitely recommend!

ShynyShy 5-piece nail brushes came packaged in a paper box with the contents all in a resealable plastic pouch with each brush having a flexible plastic piece over the brush bristles. The handles on the brushes are extremely small around and about the same length as a pencil. *Make sure you soak the bristles of the brushes prior to using them. This helps to not only soften them but to remove the wax residue on them as well!* Each brush has a different brush head ranging from a very long, skinny bristles to a shorter, wider bristles. I didn’t have any shedding from the bristles during use or when cleaning them. The bristles were easy to clean off the gel polish with a little bit of acetone nail polish remover. Once the bristles were dry, I replaced the plastic cap over them so they stayed straight and didn’t get bent. I found it harder to work with the longer, skinnier bristled brushes since they tended to splay out more no matter how much pressure I put on them, much preferred the shorter bristles for better control of gel/design placement.
