    • A good quality microphone was just saying that I paid for something that was returned.
I just received the package today which was very well packaged. but the reason why I gave only four star is because I can tell this was a return item. The box is ripped partially open the microphone wasn't even placed correctly in the plastic molding that would comfortably support the microphone for shipping. The twist tie that was holding the bundle of excessive wire wasn't professionally wrapped from Factory correctly. All indications showing that this was a return product so it was not brand new out of the box. I asked you pay for something that's brand new. So I was a little nervous at first because my thoughts were why was his return this must be defective broken until I plugged it into my amplifier to test it out. And it must have been my lucky day because the microphone and it up working perfect. The on and off switch works the cable disconnect from the mic ok and I unscrewed the top of the microphone to make sure the condenser mic was not damaged by the previous people that returned it and that seems to be intact and was not damaged. So I couldn't find anything wrong with this microphone so I'm deciding to keep it but unfortunately I'm leaving the four star because I did pay for a brand new out of the box microphone and I did not receive that. Shame on the vendor for releasing such merchandise to a consumer that is paying for something that is brand new. There should have been a small discount off on something that was actually return. But I am willing to let this go for now but I would like to make it known here to Amazon and to the public. As far as the microphone it feels like a very nice quality microphone it has good weight the frequency response according to the manual is not bad and it works very well with my amplifier. Very quiet stable microphone and seems to be a good manufactured product since I've never purchase from this vendor before. I would like to say I would recommend this vendor but like I said above I did receive a used product but I do recommend the microphone ... show more

I received mic in a good time for our event, however the microphone only worked for about 30 minutes of use and you literally had to have your mouth touching it for to work and then it completely went out. Very disappointed and returned it, I read other reviews but was hoping it was a fluke with some being defective and took a chance. Warning you may not want to take that chance. It was nice looking and perfect size for our jam box but just didn't perform up to standard.. ... show more

    • If you get busy with the mic and/or do a lot of gigs, skip this mic - They do not last very long.
Good news, its a $10 mic. Bad news, they do not hold up to the rigors of the road. These mics get the job done and sound decent (for a DJ/MC) BUT they do not last very long. I've purchased three of these microphones and all three have lasted about 1-3 months. They are not built for heavy use. They would probably work well in a place where they are setup as a stationary mic on a stand. But moving around with them a lot, connecting and disconnecting them every night, packing in your backpack, and on to the next gig - not so much. I spin 2-4 nights a week and they simply do not hold up. All three have went bad at the xlr connection in the mic. The included XLR is complete garbarge, it will only last a few weeks, if that. My partner has one that has worked well for him but he babies his equipment and doesn't use his mic nearly as much as I do. The money I've wasted on these mics would've paid for an entry-level Shure handheld. Save your money and buy better. This is cheaply engineered and most likely manufactured in China.     • Worked for a month but became disappointing shortly after.
This microphone had good reviews at the time of my purchase. I trusted them believing this was a reliable product. I received it in a timely fashion and it did not appear damaged. It worked for my first use thank goodness. But it began to have problems. The xlr connection has become loose from the mic and i have had to tape it so it would hold and deliver power to the mic. Sometimes I have to unplug and plug again in order for the mic to start working again. I would not recommend this microphone. ... show more

    • Defective Cord
Unable to use this product when needed. I had another Nady mic and tried that CORD on this mic worked fine with that other cord however, we needed two mic's and was unable to use them both as planned for that party. Have not tried to get a replacement cord being that I purchased this in late Jan 2014-early Feb. and just tried to use it for the party last week, I know my bad for not testing out sooner. My other Nady mic, purchased elsewhere works great...this is why I chose to get another Nady mic. May just be that I drew a short stick on this one. In all fairness I gave 3 stars based on the way the mic sounded when I hooked it up to the other working cord to this Nady mic that was recently purchased. ... show more

    • Great.......Then terrible
I bought this microphone for my singing machine. It worked great, and I loved it, and then after 1 month of minimal use, it stopped working. I called Nady and they told me to ship it to them for a replacement, but I had to pay $15 for shipping. I waited a month, and they never sent me a replacement. Finally I called them again, and they said we'll ship the replacement tomorrow. I eventually got it, unfortunately they sent me a refurbished replacement. I used it once or twice, and then it stopped working. My other microphone still worked great with my karaoke machine. I called them today, and they told me they'll ship me another one without me having to ship my old one. They told me that after this one, they can't send me any other replacements. Nady's quality of their products is TERRIBLE. The cheap one that came with my karaoke machine worked better than Nady's. Finally, when I bought this microphone on Amazon, it was $25.
