I don't normally review items on Amazon, but these Nachtmann Noblesse whiskey glasses are of such extremely high quality that I just HAD to offer my praise. $40.00 for four of these glasses is an absolute steal, as I would have gladly paid twice that amount for them! As many other reviewers have noted, the glasses are thick and heavy, but I actually prefer that to glasses that are extremely lightweight and break easily in the sink or dishwasher. After I got them out of the box, I examined each one of them closely and could spot no flaws in the glass whatsoever. At this price point, I could have easily lived with a few flaws, so you can imagine how absolutely surprised I was! As I sit here typing this review, I am enjoying a pour of my favorite scotch (Laphroaig) and admiring how classy and elegant it looks in one of these glasses. This is without a doubt one of the best "sight-unseen" products I have ever purchased from Amazon, and I greatly look forward to exploring more glassware/barware products in the Nachtmann Noblesse line. I tired a lot of glasses before I bought these. From cheaper ones to even high end crystal, but for the money these can’t be beat. They really resemble the look and feel of true crystal cut glasses but at a fraction of the cost. Only people who own or are familial with crystal glasses would really notice a difference anyway. Otherwise these are heavily, nicely shaped, beautiful looking, and do a great job of hiding the seams inside the cut. Absolutely love these glasses. These mimic the design of the Waterford and Marquis glassware (from Waterford) that I already have, but are much more sturdy, resisting the rim chipping I experience with the Irish variety when toasting/drinking with my buds.
