I didn't look close enough at the photos to notice this doesn't securely close... just a cinch close at the top (laundry bag style). I would never check this bag on a flight for that reason. However, for everyday use, it's great. It has a place for my bar and pump, it's comfy, adjustable, and easy to get my kites in and out of. I use 1 for my 9m and the other for my 11m. It cinches down enough that the bag doesn't overwhelm the 9m, and it's perfect for the 11m... you could go bigger... probably by a lot. ... show more
