Best doggie couch cover I’ve found so far. We have large dogs and previous covers have ripped easily under their paws. These are much thicker than the others we’ve tried and the non slip is keeping them in place so far. Much softer and better to sit on than I was expecting. I love the comfort, style, patterns, texture, material, ease of use, and thickness of it. Very soft and fit perfectly for my oversize sofa. It is slip resistance. I gave it four stars bc IS NOT waterproof. I tested by pouring just a little bit of water on it - quarter-size. It absorbed the water and went through to my sofa. I dried it with a paper towel. So I purchased two of these for my loveseat and recliner. The main reason being I wanted to cover my furniture to avoid pet hair. I had other, more waterproof, ones, but they weren't that pretty. These are very heavy, nicely made, and they brighten up my living room. I was very pleased...at first. Now I am noticing that my cats are getting their claws stuck in the material. The material snags very easily. My one chair had at least four cat's claws on it-- well the top layer of the claw actually. This tells me that my cats are having great difficulty getting free of the material. This is a major problem. I am not sure if I can return them but I hope so because they were expensive. ... show more

I don’t have pets, so I can’t comment on how they hold up to dogs or cats, but they have done a great job protecting my white couches from everyday dirt and keeping them looking clean.
