I bought 2 of these pillowcases for my wife, and generally she is happy with them. However, 1 of the cases was not silk on both sides as described (silk & cotton). It did have a higher silk count than the 19 momme, but it was also smaller. I have to stuff the queen pillow into the case, which results in a bowed pillow. The other case that is silk on both sides fits perfectly. So I give 5 stars to the one but 3 stars to the other, hence a 4 star review.

On the recommendation of a hair stylist, I switched to silk cases for my pillows and now consider them a necessity rather than a luxury. This one has a nice zipper and the silk fabric has held up well in the laundry- using cold water, gentle detergent, no dryer. Highly recommended!

This pillow case is just as described and great value for the money. It also keeps my hair from frizzing out while I sleep. My skin feels less dry, these past few weeks of "official" winter. There's nothing like laying my head down on the cool smooth silk when it's sleepy time.

I never knew I wanted a silk pillowcase until I realized that I have wavy/curly hair. I bought this pillowcase to combat frizz, and I am so glad I did. The pillowcase is soft and luxurious, but affordable. And yes, it's definitely helped cut down the frizz.

My wife and I received our silk pillowcases yesterday and put them on our pillows immediately. They are wonderful and gave both of us the best night of sleep in a long time. As a plus, no bed hair for either of us! I highly recommend these pillowcases for anyone looking for a good night's sleep.

See photo - the side of the pillow case is 14" (same as my pillow) but the zipper starts and stops approx 2 inches from each end. If I cut my buckwheat pillow open and pour the buckwheat into the case, that would work LOL Yes, this is toddler sized in the dimensions but the opening is too small. (A previous case I bought has a zipper on the side and my pillow fit very well - that was Lilysilk but unfortunately they don't seem to have toddler size anymore.) Other than that, the silk felt very smooth and soft, though also thinner than cases I've had in the past. The cotton side also felt smooth and again, on the thin side. The seams appeared to be well sewn. This case is a good price but it's a mystery to me how anyone could actually use it.
