This little table was a breeze to assemble. I loosely connected all of the pieces together then used a level along with the final tightening to make sure everything was sturdy and straight. It looks exactly as expected and is stable on my hardwood floor. Renovating my office & this is the PERFECT sized little table. 7in wide, sturdy = not wobbly, takes up minimal space, while allowing space for decoration, cup, and small snack. The below hammock storage can support a fair amount of weight. Wood top has grain to it, although, without a coaster, it seems like a ring could develop. This table was a great accent to the end of my couch. It fits very well in my small apartment space and is true to the color of the wood (I purchased "Burnt Wood & Metal"). Assembly was easy but make sure you have a screwdriver on hand as one is not provided. It seems sturdy enough for holding a couple of drinks or a small plant, but I don't think I'll put a lamp on it as it would easily get top-heavy. The sling seemed haphazardly put together; the stitching was already coming out when I first opened the package and the overlapped fabric did not align correctly so there's excess fabric on one side. Product arrived damaged. None of the metal parts were straight or square. Holes were misaligned such that one would have to bend them to get the screws to even fit. I tried to make it work, but what should've taken maybe 10 minutes to assemble (it's a total of 12 screws) took an hour to force pieces together. And then at the end of that process I discovered the base (pictured) was welded out of aligned. Clearly no quality control to catch damage before it was shipped to customer: this corner arrived this way. This isn't an issue of shipping damage: this was made this way & then shipped to customer in this condition. No way to keep the table from wobbling & dropping items off of it. So now I've got to give more of my time to disassemble it to return it & get my money back. But all my time is lost. Shelf also just looks really cheap - splotches & lines all over. Looks like a child fingerpainted it. Terrible product. Will never order from this seller again. ... show more

I'm somewhat disappointed in this table - for $60 and it being such a small item, I was expecting it to be much higher quality. The table is a little wobbly, and the wood came slightly damaged. I can't tell if the damage is intentional to make it look "distressed" or not. Additionally (as with all cheap-ish furniture) the holes don't line up perfectly. On such a small item, I don't know how the pre-drilled holes could be off, there are only 4 of them. Stylistically, the wood is also a LOT lighter than in the pictures. So it doesn't fully match the rest of the room it's in. All of that said, this works for the purposes I needed it for - I have a gap between my chaise and wall that is very narrow, and we needed a side table there for drinks, phones, etc. Unfortunately, there's not a ton out there in terms of the width I needed, and this fit the bill. It's functional and appropriately sized for what I needed, so I'll be keeping it. I do think it was wildly overpriced though. For this size and quality, it should have been $30. ... show more

I was looking for a small, but stylish side table that wasn't made of cheap, synthetic materials made in China. This piece has a real wood top and was just the right size to fit between my couch and the wall. It took about 10 minutes to put together and I was not using a powertool (though that would have made it faster). One screw I couldn't get down all the way, but it's mostly there, and it's just fine. This could be worse. It has a place and a purpose. For me, it's next to my couch where I have six inches of room and a wall it can stabilize itself on. HOWEVER, the materials are WAY overpriced and the only part of this most people couldn't do themselves (the metal) is that part that makes it unusable. If you have to throw this thing in a corner and have no ability to rough cut your own 1x6, then it's ok. I'm returning once I figure out how to disassemble because the screws strip like butter. Details below, if you want them. 1. It's a chopped down 6x1 with unfinished edges and rough sanding that has been stained once (already faded). It was chipped on arrival. Nothing keeps it together. It's honestly just a scrap board. I LOVE that it's a solid piece of wood!! I can sand this myself and make it nicer if I wanted to... but then why did I pay 40 bucks? 2. Metal coating is weak. Black comes off easily. There are sharp edges in every screw hole/ The screws are normal screws with the tips painted black. And whats more is that a screw had a weird wire attached to it that punctured the vinyl magazine holder before assembly. 3. It's wobbly on flat surfaces. I put it on my flat kitchen counter and it STIL wobbled. It's not my floor, it's the metal base. 4. The vinyl magazine holder is sewn strange with unfinished edges. I can't even explain it. It's got a weird flap. It doesn't really bother me but it's just a bad design. 5. Assembly is OK but not great. The wood doesn't come pre-drilled and if you don't assemble the magazine rack first you'll quickly realize things don't fit. I had to redo it. I didn't mind but someone else might. ... show more
