I needed a narrow side table and didn't want anything too expensive since it really wouldn't be seen, just functional. This table was easy to put together, however not all the holes lined up perfectly and I was missing a nut. Fortunately, the silver lining of not lining up properly, that screw still stays in place. Is it great quality? No. Is it inexpensive and functional? Yes.

I would have given this a 5 star review, but the board has a grease stain on the top and underside which looks like the person making it held on with dirty fingers. For what I am using it for it won’t matter, but otherwise I would be sending it back. The magazine “sling” is holding my laptop, and the top has my mouse and mouse pad (boomer)…I will also place my other devices on top of it, so the wood, which was otherwise nice, will not show.

This could be worse. It has a place and a purpose. For me, it's next to my couch where I have six inches of room and a wall it can stabilize itself on. HOWEVER, the materials are WAY overpriced and the only part of this most people couldn't do themselves (the metal) is that part that makes it unusable. If you have to throw this thing in a corner and have no ability to rough cut your own 1x6, then it's ok. I'm returning once I figure out how to disassemble because the screws strip like butter. Details below, if you want them. 1. It's a chopped down 6x1 with unfinished edges and rough sanding that has been stained once (already faded). It was chipped on arrival. Nothing keeps it together. It's honestly just a scrap board. I LOVE that it's a solid piece of wood!! I can sand this myself and make it nicer if I wanted to... but then why did I pay 40 bucks? 2. Metal coating is weak. Black comes off easily. There are sharp edges in every screw hole/ The screws are normal screws with the tips painted black. And whats more is that a screw had a weird wire attached to it that punctured the vinyl magazine holder before assembly. 3. It's wobbly on flat surfaces. I put it on my flat kitchen counter and it STIL wobbled. It's not my floor, it's the metal base. 4. The vinyl magazine holder is sewn strange with unfinished edges. I can't even explain it. It's got a weird flap. It doesn't really bother me but it's just a bad design. 5. Assembly is OK but not great. The wood doesn't come pre-drilled and if you don't assemble the magazine rack first you'll quickly realize things don't fit. I had to redo it. I didn't mind but someone else might.
