I have had a black leather hobo bag that I've worn nearly every single day for the last 15 years. People don't understand why I don't switch handbags, but it's because I found the PERFECT black bag and haven’t found anything better. However – my bag is starting to fall apart since it is 15 years old. I've been looking for something to replace it with a similar look/style for years now, but everything has come up short. I've never found anything that could compare to my old faithful bag that's on its last leg. Until now! I finally found a similar bag to the one I previously had that is just as beautiful, and I am so excited! This bag is remarkable and has a lot of the same details I was looking for in the original. For example – the hardware and the few contrast zippers on the outside of the bag really make it look so much more chic and stylish than all the other typical black hobo bags I've seen. These small features are usually missing in other bags – or they get it totally wrong and make the bag look like a weird western-style piece covered in zippers and embellishments. This one is chic and stylish and has that "it girl" look. It is also very roomy, yet it still looks chic and stylish – not oversized or tacky. I love all the compartments inside! So many of the bags I've looked at don’t have any separation or compartments for different items. My original bag had a big divider right in the middle so I could keep different types of things on each side. It also had a few interior side pockets for my ever-growing lip gloss and makeup collection. This bag holds all of that and more. Truthfully, I think I might even like this bag MORE than the original. It’s a little bit taller, whereas the other one seemed to flatten out when I would sit it down somewhere, so all the contents of my purse would spill out – or bystanders could see everything inside. This one doesn’t have that problem at all. I feel like all my belongings are safely stashed away from wandering hands with this bag. The smaller handles are a little more stiff than I expected – they’re more like “rings” than handles that collapse. I actually like this because I feel like this purse could be slightly dressed up with the smaller straps if I needed to wear it to dinner or somewhere dressy on vacation but didn’t want to change out my purse. It’s really an ingenious design. My other old purse could only be casual because it was a typical hobo-style bag that was roomy and open. This one, I feel like, could look chic and dressed up/stylish if I carry it by the smaller handles. With that being said – I also love the longer adjustable shoulder strap included with the bag, and that’s what I will primarily use when I carry it. The material says "PU" leather in the description, so I'm assuming it's like a polyurethane or vegan leather. No complaints here! I'm a huge animal lover, so I personally prefer to wear faux vegan leather over the real thing. No one can tell a difference, no one cares, and you're being kind to our animal friends. All in all, this bag is one of my all-time favorite Amazon orders. I’m so thrilled with it, I’d like to order a backup and a khaki version. I don’t want to get stuck looking for another replacement for 15 years again, so I think I might go ahead and get a couple more. That’s how awesome this bag is – 5 stars! ... show more

The myfriday Vintage Soft PU Leather Tote Hobo Bag for Women features a beautiful design. I chose mine in khaki, and I love the color. The stitching and gold-tone hardware give it a classy look. The capacious interior has a roomy main compartment, two zippered pockets for your valuables, and another open compartment between the two zippered pockets. I currently keep my foldable shopping bag in that compartment. The main compartment will comfortably contain a tablet, a wallet, a book—certainly, a Kindle—and all your cosmetics and daily essentials. I also threw in a coin purse and some headache remedies; there's still plenty of room. The slouching hobo silhouette makes a fashion statement that is both retro and chic. This is a larger than I expected, but that's on me for not checking the measurements since it looks different in the various photos. The faux leather is nice quality and doesn't look cheap, but the lining is a bit stiff. I kind of wish I would have ordered the green, since the brown is meant to have a 'weathered' look, but it is too purposeful and doesn't look natural. There is a functional zipper on the back and two non-functional ones on the front. The opening is a bit small for the size of the bag, which is quite roomy. This handbag is a straight up quality PREVAIL product. For me personally, it checks off all the boxes. Plenty of space without too many pockets. The “leather” is soft and pliable and the material inside is dense. The craftmanship is noted by every stitch and the fine details commence to secure a quality addition to any wardrobe hands down. Super pleased with this purse. I ordered it to use as a crossbody, and it adjusts well to fit my 6' frame. It looks way more expensive than it really is, and matches well with almost anything I wear. Several outside zipper pockets for easy access. Zippers work well. Inside has several zipper pockets for phone and keys, or makeup essentials. Holds quite a lot of items. I am so glad I ordered this PU leather handbag in Black. With the gold metal hardware and supple black leather, this is a stellar-looking bag. It has built-in functionality with all the pockets both inside and out. I love the double handles, the decorative gold zippers on the front, plus the realistic leather-grained texture with its subtle classy shine. Although described as a Vintage bag, I also see it as a versatile style that can be casual or dressy. A beautiful handbag like this really adds to an outfit as a statement piece in itself.
